For people who can't view the spoiler when clicking on above the answer today is:

If at first you don't succeed try, try, try again.

  • It'd be kinda ironic if an idiot lazy person won a Damien Hirst painting, wouldn't it?

"meaning lots and lots of lazy people who can't answer the question have a chance at winning. If you can't answer the question then you shouldn't win the painting - simple as that."

-I'm sure Damien's giggling about it all. That's the twisted point really...
I couldn't answer a couple of questions without help, but I'm not idiot lazy. Well, not idiot anyways.

I appreciate the answers given, when I started this competition I worked it out myself, harder ones I cant so again appreciate the time and effort given for someone to say what the answer is.

    Hi

Re those that moan about giving/sharing answers. It's not about cheating, there are no set rules saying you must not confer with others in order to get the correct answer. Therefore it is not 'cheating'.

Everyone would like to win, but what's actually quite nice is people who have the answer and then are spirited enough to want to share that.

If you are a non sharer than you should stay away. As for deserving to win, it is possible that someone may win who answers the questions 'all by themselvies', but actually is a mean bag of bones.

Thanks to those who contribute the answers.:T

    It is rather fitting.

I do find myself somewhat disappointed by threads like these. I understand there's a sense of camaraderie on here but surely pointing people in the direction of the competition is helpful enough? It does slightly gall me that I've been working out the answers just after midnight every night and yet I could just come on here and wait for some other chump to do the taxing (and ultimately fun) part for me.

I like the thinking behind the competitions forum...I just find some aspects of it really quite 'bad show' for want of a better description.

I'll never understand why people enter something like the Magnum competition 50, 100...or even 500 times. The person who does that is driven by only one thing in my eyes...

    GREED!

I will also never understand why some forum members enter competitions for items they simply don't want or need or ONLY want to make a profit on...you really can't dole out the 'Community Spirit' defense when it comes to that.

Shame on the greedy, unethical !!!!!! who enter children's competitions as well.

As for the folks with the multiple e-mail accounts or those who resort to rifling through recycling bins or picking stickers off discarded cups or asking complete strangers for wrappers and whatever else...well I just find that behaviour ultimately sad and alarmingly obsessive.

    Anyway rant over.

Let the "Well if you don't like it then don't come here" comments commence.

PS: Oingo Boingo...I take it you're an Oingo Boingo fan? Forbidden Zone is an amazing film...I love me some Danny Elfman too.

I'm here because I tried to search for the competition site address on google and this page was one of the top ones that came up. I would not have been here otherwise, the same as many other people who'll be searching for the competition and come across this page and then have no need to think of the answers themselves

re: "I do find myself somewhat disappointed by threads like these."

But, I find myself rather disappointed by Damien Hirst....Jeff Koons, Andy Warhol, et al. Their excuse is that they are just reflecting life...

I'm giving away the answers, because I want the Hirst to be hanging above a gas fire, next to a picture of dogs playing snooker, in someone's council house, while they sit and watch Corrie, eating fray bentos pies.

I have no time for competition, toryism, protestantism, greed, selfishness, "why nots" & "why shouldn't I's".

To me, there is a difference between those who have been shaped through the education system to form these machiavellian ideas, and those who do it out of ignorance, poverty & desperation.

Only 3hrs 30mins to go until I can give the next answer.....and the next answer.....and the next answer. I'm an unrelenting foot stamping on your face (metaphorically of course.)

            Lord of the Flies time.....

            Regards,

            DH.
