  • I ordered a reward via the old scheme when it reappeared briefly about a month ago. I didn't hear anything for ages, but eventually Lightspeed cancelled the order and recredited the points to my account. So you won't lose the points, although it may take a while for them to return.

Thanks for that info, I'm in no big rush really as I'm hoping to save up enough Amazon vouchers to get my DH the PS3 for his birthday in July. I've got £45 so far so a fair bit to go. Where else can I get hold of Amazon vouchers for doing surveys?

  • I'm chasing up 200 points missing from November, was going to give up on it but what do you think. I did a survey on trains companies - I was told by "lauren" that it was survey C5803. I did the entire survey, took about 30 minutes. It said to "Click here to complete this survey" - I did this but then this page came up

    http://www.researchnet.info/webprod/sssiweb/vt/vt02/cgi-bin/ciwweb.pl?hid_studyname=vt02&hid_pagenum=1&sys_simplebrowser=0&sys_username=1000&sys_password=&v1=g9003922069&v2=22133&v3=41&a=4.50&b=5.00&c=5.50&d=6.25&e=7.00&f=7.50&w=3&hid_javascript=1

Quota cell full. No additional interviewing permitted using this username-password combination.

I then got this email back

    Dear Panellist,

    Thank you for you email.

In answer to your query regarding the error in survey C5803.:

We have determined that a mistake was made with the attribution of your points.

We apologise for the inconvenience that this has caused.

We have now attributed the missing 200 points to your account.

Please note that it can take up to 24 hours before these points are shown on your members page.

    Kind Regards,

    Lauren

Still no points added so I replied asking when they would go on & got this

    Thank you for your e-mail.

I have checked your account and I have noticed that an error has been made. The e-mail you listed below, should not have been sent to you.

Survey C5803 did not finish with you because the quota was full. Not because of a technical error. You can see this yourself at the bottom of the email you have sent us. It states:

Quota cell full. No additional interviewing permitted using this username-password combination.

This means that because of the background information you have given when registering, you did not qualify for this survey.

Because of the full quota, you received 10 sweepstake entries on the 17th of November 2006.

Once again, I apologise for the mistake that was made.

    Kind Regards,

    Lauren

That survey took me over 30 minutes - surely that means I should have got the full 200 points?

I'm part of Juicy Brains, Valued Opinions & Mum's Opinions. Can't figure out Test & Vote - does have the website as I keep getting surveys but can't find where to check my balance.

I did the breast augmentation questionaire on 20 March. Didn't get the points. Sent 2 emails got one general reply. Anyone having any joy with this. I see one person chased and got their points soon, but y are they(lightspeed/lauren) ignoring me? Maybe my letters weren't strong or persuasive enough. Any tips?

    Me too!

I have sent them two emails and still no response. I have just sent my third one spelling out how sick I am of having to chase these points so I'll just have to wait and see.

Hope you get some luck soon

Has anyone read the Trade Descriptions Act (1968). I think that by not giving the points promised, they are in breach of it. Any thoughts?
