I didn't know lightspeed did points for testing things-how do you sign up for this part? I just get surveys at the moment. Thanks

The points do take longer to redeem than other sites...I use the paypal option rather than vouchers. My favourite site however is definately pinecone, who pay £4 for surveys and also give product tests, i havent been a member for longer than a month but have already done a product test!
Still at least lightspeed arent as bad as test and vote.

nim3, it may be that things have changed since you last got a voucher from Lightspeed.

E-vouchers now come through within a few minutes.

I would say Lightspeed are my bread and butter. In fact I do say it in my blog. Behind PineCone they are the best payer. Since March, my PayPal account has been sweetened to the the tune of £15 thanks to LightSpeed.

From reading everyone's posts, it seems (and I've been just as guilty) that us survey takers get a bit too hung up on not being paid instantly. I keep a track of all my surveys (I get paid by about 25 sites - approximately £100/month so far) and yes, sometimes a site will forget to pay (such as Ciao) or kick me out early (such as Opinion Bar), but generally all is good. I used to get a little wound up, but come on - it's peanuts. If you don't like a site, stop doing their surveys. Trouble is, we can't because we're addicted. Maybe it's time to put up, or shut up. If you really want to know the scammers, and have a say, go to https://www.surveypolice.com. That's an authentic site which will tell you right off the bat who are and who are not the real deal. Some survey sites are bound to have their glitches, some are bound to be a little sneaky and get some more info out of you for free, but my opinion is it's not worth worrying about.

Anyway LightSpeed seem to be okay, so don't be dissin' Lauren ;). I get 5-6 surveys at the start of the month from them. And about 5-10 a day in general from all sites, for which I qualify for about half. The rather tongue in cheek blog is tracking my adventures. How sad am I?

No referrals for LightSpeed by the way...

Hope you don't mind me asking, William, butif you get that many surveys do you need to declare the income? Just asking because I don't know if I should be. I know I needn't with the likes of cashback and when I'm being paid in vouchers, I was more wondering for the likes of opinionbar, ciao, globaltestmarket etc when being paid in cash?

Yes. I will be declaring all of my additional income from my surveys, your honour.

I actually just found this site about work at home stuff (I was actually searching for whether I need to pay tax or not ) - it looks pretty cool, some I haven't joined yet. Some other ideas as well.

God, wouldn't it be great to find something that paid enough to give up your day job? "See, it's not the despair. I can handle the despair. It's the hope I can't stand." (John Cleese and others, I believe).

This is my rant on survey taking so far. Might as well advertise it - what's the point in writing if no-one reads it?

    What's happenning with lightspeed today?

Just received 4 surveys in a row, 3 of which I qualified for

Just earned more with them in the last hour, than over the last 6 months

I joined this months ago and I've still only got £1.50!

I just did the bread one and it froze on one segment and that was it... tried it twice.. I give up now! This has happened on a couple of other surveys too.

The other one was for men only.
and I've done about 5 others and I never seem to qualify to complete them! grrr... I might have to give up on this site!
