I used 2 cards in Tesco for the Naming Day food, split transaction.
One in Argos - no problem at all
One in our Chinese & One Stop at the end of the road, as I was tooooo tired to cook

Waiting on another £80 or £100 to come (lost track now!)

Has anyone tried to buy gift vouchers from the Sainsburys or Morrisons instore gift voucher stand? I mean the one that sells vouchers for loads of other stores; debenhams, ticketmaster etc?

x 64p. No idea why they have taken 64p for each attempt.


Besides Amazon is there anywhere else where you can consolidate the cards as
online gift vouchers/certificates? other online stores I've looked at only send out physical vouchers with delivery charges etc.

Pretty sure you can get a Sainsburys gift card from CS instore http://www.sainsburysgifts.co.uk/gift_cards/faqs.html . You can then top it up online. Use that to buy goods instore /petrol or other store vouchers eg Debenhams.

i have bought game ones with free postage , not sure on anywhere else, i know high street vouchers do them but they charge £1 postage

I take it cards dont work in Tesco or Mr J burys

mine worked fine in tescos bought a bbq, used 5 cards in one transaction. asked them to do a split transaction and they couldn't of been more helpful.

It seems to be dependant on whether you get an incompetant pleb as a cashier or not?
