Just looked at my latest statement and looks as if the loophole on cashback from transfers from Egg Money to Egg Savings may have been closed.
My latest transfer which went through on 29th May has not earned me any cashback.
My OH who has the same statement date as me and did a transfer earlier in May has earned cashback.
The wording on both transfers was the same : card to savings transfer GB, and both were requested by secure message.
Nice while it lasted. Just have to hope they dont cancel the cashback earned before they pay it out next year.

This will not go down well with me. I would kick up a fuss about this!

We need some more people to confirm whether the loophole is closed or whether you have been unlucky this time as I believe each CSA could implement the transfer to avoid the cashback if they did what they should

Kick up a fuss! It's a loophole which we have been exploiting. Kicking up a fuss would serve no purpose and probably just raise awareness within EGG even further.
    Just tough luck really.
Apparently I'm 10 years old on MSE. Happy birthday to me...etc

Yes, not about the loophole but rather that the cashback shows on my account and I would be upset if they withdrew it before the 'payout date'. If they start doing this it would be certain that the loophole had already been closed. I would not complain if a transfer did not attract cashback, I agree here that you take your chances

    From your link YB:
'I was told that Egg have no plans to retrospectively reclaim any cashback previously accrued'

So I am showing £180 due (to be paid in March 08). As far as you know, I will get this?

Even tho the loophole closed on 21st I have earned cashback on a card to savings transfer actioned on 29th May. Admittedly only £39 but even this is just shy of 20% of the annual max we can earn.

This seems to wholly supprt YB's comments on the stoozing site that the odd CSA may not action the transfer in the prescribed way and thus you might still get lucky like I did.

I've experienced the same but for a limit reaching £160!

Did a transfer last week, statement date 13th June, 1% cashback paid for a transfer from Egg Money to Savings. Doesn't seem to be closed.
