Is the only way to track your cashback the yearly statement? So during the year you have no idea what cashback you have got unless you track it yourself?

You can click on 'cashback and offers' and see the cashback recently and a total for the year so far

    Hi all,

I have stumbled across this post - have been with Egg Money for a year and don't have a savings account. Obviously need to get one!

Presume I then transfer £1k onto Egg Money, then somehow transfer that to Egg savings for the cashback - please can anyone give baby steps?

Many thanks and once I know I won't ask again :D;)

I tried this (move money from egg money to egg savings by secure message - asked BAC's and they came back saying ok). But nothing is showing up on my current cashback?

It'll update when your next statement is produced.
  • it will show on recent transactions usually within 3-5 working days. I am upto 200.00 already this year

In my recent experience, the "CARD TO SAVINGS TRANSFER" will show within a day or two, but the cashback amount (for the month) doesn't show until my next statement is produced.

Are you saying your cashback is updated throughout the month?

I've just borrowed £9K from the N&P credit card, then transferred to my wife's Egg Money, then to her Egg Savings. Hopefully all correct so far.

In the meantime, I've opened myself an Egg Money and Egg Savings account. Can I now transfer from my wife's Egg Savings to my Egg Money then on to my Egg Savings? Or do I have to transfer it to a third party bank account first?

Is there any recommended period of time to leave the money lying around in each account or is the consensus of opinion that you can transfer it out the day after it arrives?

    Thanks
