Well done MM
,
Sounds like things are well underway. The ones who have provided their bank details, get payments underway to them at the rate you proposed.:T
Hopefully you will get some good advice on the other thread, have you searched the forum for threads about how others have got on with Newlyn - by sharing other peoples experiences you might get some hints on how to deal with these morons!:DLBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Another quick update. We have another acceptance letter - some of these are being far more cooperative than I had expected. 4 accepted so far! :j
I think the 2 council taxes with bailiffs are going to be tricky but they will never be let in the house and we will pay them what we can afford. I suspect some of their letters are just trying to push us into paying them more so they get more commission.
I'm looking forward to what the postmas brings tomorrow.Ebay challenge 2010 - £525

Hi all,
Just wanted to properly update - got some success from Chief Execs office at Littlewoods - they are accepting my £10/week offer with a review in 12 months - no more fees.
Earlier Next Directory also agreed a reduced payment schedule. Both of these have provided enforceable CCA's so I am happy to have a confirmed arrangement in place for these
Keep at it, good luck to you all!LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

The postman gave me a letter this morning out of the blue from EOS solutions (sainsburys loan) offering me a reduced settlement figure. Unfortunately at this point in time I am not able to get together the figure that they are asking for.
But on a positive note - I now know that they are willing to accept F&F - so will start squirreling away and go in at a lower % a few months down the line :T0 -
Congrats debt obsessed - as you say now you can see they are open to negotiations. Good luck with the squirreling away!:)LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

That is good news debt obsessed!
I have been busy letter writing today. I am sending a please reconsider letter to Moorcroft who demanded £40 rather than the £2 they were offered. I have also sent another letter outlining our offer to Rossendales - they keep writing but none of their letters acknowledge our letter!
Slightly off track, we got a letter saying the bank don't think we are in hardship, but again making no reference to the updated SoA we sent or the fact that we are on a DMP. They are getting the 'please reconsider or we will go to the financial ombudsman' letter.
I will post these tomorrow.
Phew, this is quite tricky to keep track of - I'm glad I have a folder for the letters.
Good luck all - who knows what the postie will bring tomorrow!Ebay challenge 2010 - £525

Hi Debt O
Good news about the F&F. Good luck with the 'squirreling'.
