I squash the toilet roll before i put it on the holder so that the kids cant pull loads off. I also go to my parents during the week and at weekends, for free brews and reading of newspapers.0

Have a massive barbeque - invite everyone you know get them all to bring a bottle, and something to eat for the table... You have had a banquet, not provided anything except venue and go down as giving great party!!
Even got parents to bring barbeque (dad then cleaned it when he got it home), bring paper plates and cups (so nothing gets broken - yeh right!!).

i know someone who collects and eats roadkill! nice!
also i knew someone who made their kids walk up on the right hand side of the stairs on the way up, and left hand side on the way down for even wearing fo the carpet!!
not sure if that is moneysaving or just crazy!!0 -

If I have a cuppa in supermarket cafe I take the opportunity to stock up on little sachets of mayo,mustard,salt pepper,salad cream etc then use with packed lunches during the week

OLD telephone books make ideal personal address books. Simply cross out the names and addresses of people you don't know.
