I'm still jogging but I think I might have taken a wrong turn somewhere (story of my life!) :rotfl:

I'll crack on by myself then. :D

    morning friends!

lovely sunny day here... full of the joys of spring!!

Speaking of life on the edge, i think i might see if i can get an appointment with the chiropodist today... i have slighly sore toes and feet... i think the running is making it worse.

    rock n roll!!

Good morning everyone how are we this fine sunny day. wow isnt it a lovely one? hope everyones life is going good at the mo. Well i had a turn up for the books yesterday, I went across to my old company to get my unemployment claim form signed and they offered me my old job back. i laughed so hard i nearly fell off my chair. But has left me in a bit of a dilemma.
Aaaaanyway. managed to run 8.5 miles last night, took an age as it was a new route and very hilly but i managed the distance very comfortable. my knee did swell up again after i'd stopped but all is boding well for the big day.
Can i pass on a word of advice to my fellow runners though? and this is a serious word of advice.
If you are going to plan a new route please please drive it or know the roads first. I didnt know the roads and ended up last night running along a very fast road, in the dark with no pavements and no streetlights. I had my mobile on as a light but had an exceptionally close call with the front of a lorry, luckily with the grass verge i wasable to leap, gazelle like. ;) out the way when i realised he weren't moving for anyone!!!!!!

Not doing that route in the dark again.

Have a lovely sunny day one and all.
    Hugs
