I'd kill for pie and chips. And mushy peas!

I've got some dried peas soaking for tea, they freeze well ;)

Hi Pap, how are you doing....are you still part time at work?

Hi Waw, I am great thanks. Yep still working p/t, my plan is to go back to full time in Febuary 2010. That is unless I find a better job with another company or something goes wrong  I am off on holiday soon and once I come back I am planning to volunteer weekly, just to build my confidence :D Thanks for asking

I gotta renew my Car Tax today.

Cheers for that, you just saved my life/car. I bought my tax disc a few weeks ago and forgot to put it on. I've now gotta find the flaming thing before the end of the day, since my disc runs out today.

morning everyone, glad jack is on the mend Lenny poor little thing,

I'm depressed now, bloody husbands :) Actually, it's as much my fault really. We had some decent savings but work has been a bit hit and miss for him so far this year, mostly miss really. it's that time of year when work dries up, happens every year but by May it gets busy again. But, the savings are going down rapidly, I've just booked to take the baby to Canada in April which wasn't cheap. Airport taxes do my head in, £211 for the flight, £194 tax per person, so flights were a couple of grand.

Then he's having his eyes lasered on tuesday next week, £4000 for that, he's having the lasik super-duper package. The lowest price quoted was £3300 dunno what happened to the £400 an eye on the advert but they forgot about that one I think.

We still have cash but all together this year we are £4000 down on what we started with. I've been spending too much too. So, now I've just done the accounts I feel like sitting up a corner with a bar of dairy milk and a bottle of vodka :)

Oh and the diet has gone to crap too :rotfl:

Mmm here too! I had some leftover pasta from last night, been hungry all morning. Still bored - have even run out of things to look at online (apart from here of course!)
