Funny how planting trees and taking action on the life of your dreams are the same that way.

Morning
 I'm having one of those days already and it's only 8.30....doesn't bode well.
In the effort to save money today, I shall not be leaving the house, I shall not buy anything online and I shall not nip to the farmers market (and buy a yummy hot sausage roll that I really don't need)....
Instead I shall wash the bathroom ceiling and I shall descale the shower head.

Oh no, I killed my own thread lol. Hey I think I raised this yesterday, I gotta renew my Car Tax today. 12 months is £210 and 6 months is £115. So if I buy x2 6 months worth it will cost me £230. Why do the DVLA do this? Surely it should be £105 for 6 months. Bloody scam. Does anyone else agree? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. The reason is surely because if you buy for 6 months you are more likely to evade later and also they get all your money in advance for 12 months so are discounting the 12 more likely rather than charging more for the 6!
But I dont drive so dont ask me - Morning by the way!0 -
yes i agree lenny but its obviously charging for admin costs and loss of interest!

Very philosophical for that time of the morning.
I have no time to dream but I WILL ring the waterboard about my overflow today.
And maybe master the central heating timer - 3am again this morning.0 -

Admin, wages, postage and disc might account for some of it.0 -
