    Afternoon peeps

i`ve been back and edited my original post to read MrsMW :D i`m blaming the keyboard at w*rk cos i have to go back through all the spellings as it likes missing letters out - must have missed that one :D

I`ve just eaten a blackberry oat bar that i found in the freezer, next time i defrost one in the mw i shall only put it in for 20 seconds though, nearly had my fingers off lol.

There is also some terrine thawing out for later which we shall have with salad and any other odds and sods that need using up so thats tea sorted.

I shall make a sandwich and have a potter in the garden :D

Nimbo - Hope that you`re feeling better soon ((((HUGS))))

Oh, the thing about not posting except with at least some OS was not a drama queen or anything, just I feel a bit bad that I am wittering and I have absolutely no old style stuff done. Also, my little bear is the light of my life and I am endlessly fascinated by him, but it isn't compulsory for anyone else to feel the same :D

Princesstippytoes - I do hope you are feeling better, some of these bugs really take it out of you! Elona has been bad as well, and MrsTittlemouse, and others - I feel like I should just be scraped up and left in a jar! There have been some horrible bugs going round.

Celyn - if you watch NCIS, are you like Abby? And do you think you should try and get headhunted by someone who allows perks like holidays! I think your holiday sounds wonderful and extremely well deserved, but I think I would have packed sandwiches :o And forgotten my phone charger :p

And I have manged to load up the washing machine for the second time. So that is OS. And I have started to consider thinking about commencing meal plans, which is the furthest I have got in ages. That's all I'm aiming for.

I am considering promoting the lurgy to very nearly almost flu.

Now little bear is stirring so I am going to drag myself up and get him. The wardrobe seems solid enough but does anyone have any good ideas about securing it? I may just get rid, it isn't being very useful.

Celyn - sorry, there is no way you would ever have time to watch an hour long episode of a programme. :o

Afternoon everyone! Hope you're all having a good day? Snatching a couple of minutes at work to write this. It's been a busy day!

DH is at home today, he was shivering last night before going to bed and couldn't get warmed up. His bones ache and he feels out of sort with it. Sounds like some sort of virus and I told him to listen to his body and stay at home today.

Managed to get a load of towels hung out before I left this morning, along with some rugs. The dog's on heat just now, so has been making a bit of a mess in her basket :( It's a good day here with a stiff breeze, so I'm hoping that they'll be dry when I get home. I hope that DH will have taken them in!!

Not sure what I'm going to do for tea and after that I've got some studying to do. Plenty of stuff in the freezer though, so could be freezzer roulette.

Enjoy the rest of the day and hugs to all.

We've got beautiful weather here - which is amazing as DS1 had a school trip to the local Botannical gardens, and they walked there. I got to go and help - I now could do with a large drink, I don't know how his teachers do it!
I'm still looking for a new cooker, has anyone got a Smeg double oven freestanding cooker? If so how many shelves do you get in the main oven? And are you happy with it?

WS make the most of little Bear not talking, all too soon you'll be wishing that he would just shut up for a minute. DS2 never stops, although my proud mummy moment of today was when he read the word "hot" whilst we were out (he's 31/2).

Dinner is chilli, as it needs to be something quick as I have my quilting group today.
Hugs to all that need them!

    Buenos Tardes

Well my ironing mountain must have worn me out as I slept until 9.30 this morning, no great problem, but very usual. Thought I had cleared it all then found 3 more items this morning:mad: .

Sorry to hear so many of you are not or have not been at all well, I wondered where you had been PTT. I think there are a few nasty virus strains around, and I will endeavour to avoid them.

For those of you not around later last night, I have had an email from M who has been let down by France Telecom, and has neither phone or internet, latest promise next Thursday:eek: .

Teenage boys and GCSE's/A+AS Levels/Uni exams, "Memories!" They are a right PINA, and do not learn, they do not realise how time is slipping by. I would talk to the teacher involved and see if he is saying that just to get him into gear.

OS wise, we have just been to Lidl and stocked up, doing the usual eating up, and cooking from scratch, and keeping on top of the housework. Dare not bake as would want to eat it.

Sunnygirl - why not treat the easter holidays as an opportunity to learn your kids to bake for themselves? Then when they say there is nothing in the tin, you can say, well you can fill them for me then:D

    :grouphug: where needed :grouphug:

    Afternoon all
We've only just got in from work, there was a panic on as one of the rooms needed setting up & there was no one to do it, so Hubby stayed. He wan't well on Sunday & spent the day in bed, he was even worse yesterday but went to work anyway (this is the man who once went to work, roofing with his arm in plaster) he struggled through the day with a high temperature, came home, went straight to bed & to sleep. Today he is feeling very slightly better, but I fear the virus could still prove fatal, because if he doesn't stop complaining about EVERYTHING, I will bash him with my frying pan, I can do nothing right, (not even that)he is the most impossible patient.
Anyway some good news, hubby's got work for the next 2 weeks & we've heard nothing more from BIL1!
The dog I'm looking after will be here this evening, so I need to vac round before she arrives.
    Have a good evening.
    Hugs Hester
