Oh, how amazing!! I saw my beanie on a 3D scan at 13 weeks and it looked horrible - like a little devil child!

It was where the skull hadn't developed yet and you could see the brain

I know what you mean, this was our 17 week scan and they switch to 4D in parts. Looks very strange.

  • Then just before Christmas we started talking about it and planned to start trying this summer. Well, as my Dad said 'you must have done more than just think about' coz as you can see from my sig Beanie is due in September and was conceived sometime over Christmas and New Year!
We called our little girl beanie as well! We still call her that, more than her real name. She's nearly 2 now.

I'm 34 and first baby is due in July - OH and I only got together at the end of 2006 and married last year so it's the earliest opportunity! :D

I'd have liked children earlier but I hadn;t found the man at that point.

I was 25 with DS - and although i wouldn't change him for the world, looking back I was too young!

DD followed when I was 29, and 2nd DD has just arrived now i'm 37!

I'm finding this one so much easier, i'm probably more confident having done it before - but i've also got two gorgeous helpers aged 11 and 8, who can't do enough for their baby sister.

I think if i could do it again, i'd have lived a little more in my 20's, then started on babies at 30.

    I was 32.

Personally I think anyone who gets married or has children before the age of 25 is crackers!

:rotfl:I tell my hubby I was a child bride and should have a get out clause!!!!

Funnily enough, I got married 2 weeks after my 23rd birthday, I don't regret it for a second, but when I hear of people that age getting married I think they're so young (I'm 30 so I'm not that much older!)

I was 17 when I married, and I'm horrified when I hear of other people marrying at that age!

I'd been with OH for 3.5 years when we got married, and it was with the blessings of both our families. Luckily(?) I'm blessed with a Mother who would have definitely told me had she not been happy with things!

I had Alyssa when I was 23 and VERY unplanned. Me and the daddy had only been together three months, I was still living with my ex, my best friend had died 4 months before and I was in university too!!

I dont think there IS a 'right time'. There is always going to be something that you can see as a barrier in your life, saying its not right timing cos you wanna decorate the house, or the money is great at that moment etc. Fact is, when the baby is there in your life you work around her, nothing else even comes close to comparing. Yeah I have thousands of pounds of debts, Im STILL unemployed after graduating last summer. I cant afford carpet for my house.. but my daughter has clarks shoes when she needs them, her bedroom is fully decorated and always clean. You just change your view of whats really important in life :)

Well all of you lot have terrified me! I'm going back to uni in september and I'll be 28 when I graduate. I want to get a good few years in the workplace before I have a kiddywink. Figuring I'll be in early thirties, am I taking a gamble?

I guess I must be crackers then! :D

I had my first bub when I was 19, second at 21 and got married when I was 23. I'm now 28 and would really like to have one more child (before I turn 30 which I decided yrs ago would be the latest I'd leave it) but OH isn't keen so just the 2 it is for me.
