Debate House Prices
In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non MoneySaving matters are no longer permitted. This includes wider debates about general house prices, the economy and politics. As a result, we have taken the decision to keep this board permanently closed, but it remains viewable for users who may find some useful information in it. Thank you for your understanding.

There's no point in having something this vitriolic and I certainly dont want it in the core MoneySaving boards.
The board needs a board guide who can keep things a little more civil and report matters to abuse much more quickly + nudge things along a bit better. This is probably more important than moving the board anywhere.
If you get rid of the board, the nutbar element will just go somewhere else on this site.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

Im surprised that martin fella has got the cheek to show his face around here, after telling everyone last year to fix their gas and electricity.:p:confused:I am not a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as not being a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as financial advice.0

No, I don't believe in keeping topics on-topic, what you need is to keep off-topic posts productive. I.e. not vitriolic infighting.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

multi id accounts are wrecking this place...so when it all goes to the middle of nowhere i hope you are all proud
They can, is some cases, be used in a fraudulent manner. Below is a link to a thread which IMO is the BEST even on an internet forum, it decends into arguement, appears early on to be bullying, but almost certainly saved someone the thick end of £20,000.(just like this board;) ) the Salient posts are No 1, 3, 13-18 and 40
Warning it is avery addictive thread and will cost you the rest of your evening.

I suppose there's some irony that Martin's thread on this momentous event might get pulled and sent to the Moneysavers.0

You can try the guilt trip tactics as much as you want but the fact of the matter is that it is you, Really2 and Broders (+ your associated "sock puppets") that have destroyed what was once an excellent forum.

No it is people like you not allowing others an opinion then throwing abuse at them.
It was a forum to discuss points, not be preached at by some HPC loons who get personal when you contest what they say.
As usual the usuals blame the others not realizing it is their own insults and hatred that cause all the problems.:rolleyes:0
