Well, I was assuming that Skint Lynne's post was serious - in that she meant what she said. That last reply sounded almost identical to a troll. Maybe I'm wrong. In which case, I wish her well.
I feel so sorry for you KKP, you just cannot express yourself properly, all these vague and unmeaningful statements. I have just been looking at some of your other posts, employed somewhere for 4 days? That just says it all. When did you start claiming money off the state again? Did you carry on claiming when you were employed for all of 4 days?
I wish you well too, you really need it. That's all I'll be saying to you I'm afraid, I'm fed up with reading your drivel. It's a shame that you have nothing better to do with your time than be unproductive.0 -
Think of us as a family. Sometimes we get along better with some people than others.
If you get along with the majority of us, then things'll be fine.
But we definitely don't put up with 'naming and shaming' so there's no harm with ignoring a post sometimes. You don't have to pick up on every detail.
What are you intending to do as part of this challenge next week?
I shall be taking back some clothes that I have decided don't look too good for a refund.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

Next week, I will be writing down every penny I spend in my diary, as I have been falling by the wayside on this one.
I will also be cleaning up to see if there is anything I can sell at the next car boot.
Nice to have you back whitwing, I have missed you posting. How is DH and the wee fella?0 -

If you dislike me so much, then why bother asking? What was the purpose of making personal attacks and trashing the thread? So because I'm unemployed, that makes me a bad person? I must automatically be wrong?Skint_Lynne wrote: »I wish you well too, you really need it. That's all I'll be saying to you I'm afraid, I'm fed up with reading your drivel. If you're an adult I feel sorry for you. I've never seen such a childish post on a forum before. In fact, I'm wasting time that I could be doing something productive in. Good night, and stop trolling here for the sake of the other members please.0 -
Now that I have finished at Uni :j:j I am going to sort out the house. I made a start on the kitchen yesterday, so I will be sorting out the rest of the kitchen cupboards tomorrow. The rest of the week will be spent going room to room leaving nothing untidied/sorted/thrown out. The plus side of this is that I won't be going anywhere to spend any money

Sorry, I can't dislike someone that I don't know, you have been posting/trolling in this thread for all of 24 hours, I have been a member for almost a year.............................................. you are very over analytical and defensive, poor thing.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Whilst I'd struggle to spend £30 myself, I told DD a couple of days ago that I'm planning to go down as much to check their prices out as anything - so if she wants to give me a shopping list I'll pick stuff up for her. Hopefully our combined bills will come to £30+ without me needing to stockpile more stuff (certainly will this week given what she's told me is already on said list!!). I haven't mentioned the vouchers to her, and don't feel guilty in not offering to split the value as I'm saving her a lot of time (and a taxi fare back from Mr A) by doing her shopping for her
Just not sure how to account for themNormally I'd take the cost of a newspaper out of my "anything else" budget, as I usually only buy a paper that comes with a CD or DVD that I fancy. But if I do this it strikes me I should reduce my grocery budget by a fiver each time, and move that over to my "anything else".
Alternatively I can charge the paper to my grocery budget, then use the £5 voucher to offset something I wouldn't normally buy (or wouldn't normally pay full price for, such as pork steaks/chops - which I've just totally run out of with little hope of getting any more as Whoopsies for a while)Cheryl0 -
Cheryl,
I'm sure that I read elsewhere that Mr T will honour these vouchers as well, I know that you go there for your petrol. Just in case that is handier for you, I would check it out. xx0 -
SL,
I typed you a reply but lost it. Grr. So for now, DH and DS are fine, and I'll let you know later on.
Cheryl,
Loved your comment 'while I'd struggle to spend £30 myself'...After all my time here, I still wouldn't struggle to spend £30 anywhere.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them.
