it is hard CCStar all round, but chin up you can only do you best, and im sure youve really tried to help.
Dont get me wrong and i dont mean to be rude, but if your mum and brother are in the 'rut' or situation in despite grumbling, it continuing, bieng broke and your help to sort the situation thier probably isnt much else you can do especially as it making you unhappy.
other that try to and take a step back for your own sake and be thier to give supprt.
I love the area but living near family is spoiling it.
I have spoken to her and she will talk to him.
If he does have a proper paying lodger and my mum stops paying, then he can have his key back.An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

It would be nice if he were clean and responsible, but he's past the age where his mother can change him.
That's the bad news.
The good news is that the odds are that one day, he'll see a gorgeous long legged creature with long eyelashes, and want to show her the beautiful (clean and neat) nest that he wants to share with her. Be the best mum in the world then, and don't say a word, silently just hand him the cleaning kit you have standing ready.0 -

I won't hold my breath
My mother has spoilt him and only she can cut off his money
She is not going to support me and allow her to move in.

It's been a long time since i've graced this thread, will try and read through for individual replies. Have had a rollercoaster week, though i suspect blames lays more with my BPD than the depression.
have just changed GP's and am terrfied. I got on really well with my last GP, she got me through some really bad times. haven't met new GP yet but have assessment of sorts next week. I'm so scared they won't be ok with me. It took a lot for me to see a GP and find someone i could trust who gave a damn bout their pateients with MH probs. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Yippee! For the first time in months, I have actually managed to willingly get out of bed in the morning! It's 08.00 and I've already been up for an hour and a half!
Also, OH has laughed, and I mean really laughed, close to crying with laughter laughed, for the first time in what must be more than 2 years - I have missed that so much. Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -

I feel betrayed
I can see why you feel betrayed. She's not doing him any favours by behaving the way she is. She's ruining him as a person, and he may end up ruining her financially. I suspect that they'll always want to moan to you and then go on doing what they want.
Control the bits you can. Stop listening to his and her gripes, and concentrate on you and your husband can lead your own lives, without bothering with them, or going running every time they get themselves into another situation.0 -
Congrats Tulip, the image suits you
Messed up - I can empathise with your fear of seeing a new GP, however, in my experience, there has only been one professional that took me seriously & he was my first Psychiatrist who I saw 12 years ago. Unfortunatly, within less than a year of seeing him, he transferred to another team & I never saw him again.0
