Thanks guys :) Yes, me and Gilly Badger are getting married on Tuesday. We are both very, very happy. I hadn't mentioned it before now because I didn't to make a big fuss, but it was MSE that brought us together and we both were always, and still remain, very fond of the posters on this thread. So although I know many of you have difficulties at the moment, I hope you don't mind our sharing this news with you.

I never, ever thought I'd find happiness in life. Never give up:)

    Much love to you all,

    Sazzy xxxx

Hi, I am a newbie to the site and thought I would introduce myself.

I suffer from mild depression and have been taking Fluoxetine since the birth of my four year old child. I am about to arrange counselling from where i work as they offer it. I think it will help to talk through my issues and stresses.

Hi pixie:hello: and welcome to the thread, post as much or little as you like there is usually someone about,as i said in a previous post lots of people have found counselling useful and it can be a big help in dealing with depression.

    I didn't go. I haven't been that well lately.

These last 3 days really have been awful for me - my mood is absolutely terrible atm. Friend is refusing to speak to me - this isn't helping me at all.:(

I am tempted to go back to the doctors - I need something more than counselling.

Ah- was rooting for you as well!

What do you feel that you need? (ie meds or a deeper sort of therapy?) hope it goes well with your GP, there is a better way out there, just don't stop 'till your onto something, it will get better!

Ignore your friend for now would be my best advice, IME getting yourself better requires you to be quite selfish for a time until you have the stregnth to carry other people yourself you need to keep all your energies focused on your own mental health, there are already enough things to make that difficult in everyday life for everyone without having to fix every other little problem.

It takes alot of focus and determination to do this but pays off.
(This has been what I've experienced and others I have met through my depression, ED or other mental health issues in the past 15 yrs anyway.)

    Morning all,

had an awful day yesterday, having a few problems but I know what I have to do to solve them so I'm not stressing out too much.

Sorry so many of you are having problems too, but things always get better and that's what I'm focusing on, I'm fed up of looking back or at the present.

I hope today will be a better day for everyone.

Hello everyone.Wishing you all well. Thinking of you Miroslav.
Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
    And we were young.

Hi all, just thought I'd pass a message on from Shaz.
She's met a new guy and things are going really great. She sounds so positive and he sounds like a really nice guy and he's certainly handsome.

She just wanted to let you all know how she is. Nice one Shaz x

Hello everyone.Wishing you all well. Thinking of you Miroslav.

    Thank You.

The anniversary hit about 5 or 6 minutes ago and went on a website and bought 14 scratchcards at 25p a time (14 being how old she was when she passed) fully expecting to lose my £3.50, but actually came out £1.75 in profit. Good old Paws.

Same again tomorrow on her cremation anniversary. I don't care about the money, just the rememberance.

Hope all are well today and sounds like good news for Shaz.
