Thursday will be the first anniversary since losing my little Paws.

I've so much going on in my head that I typed the wrong Thursday...it's THIS Thursday - it's okay, I know the date, I just missed 'next' in front of Thursday :o I didn't not know when my cat died :o

hello to Miroslav, I used to read your posts when I was a lurker - do feel for you when you lost your beloved animals, I'm a cat person myself.

Nice to meet another cat lover :T Dreading losing my last two and I now notice every little thing that might be wrong with them, even if it really is nothing other than a yawn :o

Hope everyone is well and has enjoyed the nice weather. A bit duller today and a bit of rain yesterday.

Miroslav I have four cats now, two of my cats passed away a few years ago, one reached the grand old age of seventeen. My oldest now is thirteen.
Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
    And we were young.

Good luck for tomorrow and remember they are there to help,a few people from this thread have found counseling worked for them and are glad they made the effort to go.

Good luck! I fully rate counseling, I have psychotherapy (a bit deeper) and started off with counseling. Alot depends on the relationship you have with your counselor and like any relationship, it takes time to build up trust and respect but as long as your open to wanting help and to change, your definitely onto the right path.

Am actually a bit jealous- I am due my therapy sessions again but the airplane issue has made me wait another week in addition to the other 3 (so far...)

Maybe keep a note book, discuss whats worrying you so you can work on it and get it out the way- I often find in a session I can totally forget really important things! Think its some sort of protection facility my brain has but it does me no favors when I leave as it all comes crawling back and then I'm on my own with it. At least if I have a note book I have a chance to talk about it and only have myself to blame for not getting help with it.

Hope it goes OK for you tomorrow!
