Afternoon all,
Part Mouse - hope you are feeling better today, thanks for your kind words as always x
Alison - so sorry to hear your news, thinking of you and OH and family at this sad time x
Didn't make work today, I've been to doctors and have tonsilitis now, so been given penicillin as its very bad, have to take painkillers, but she wants me to be careful that I don't think about taking too many. Feel very tearful but she wants me to give new meds a chance and throat to clear as its going to make me feel worse. So need to see her in two weeks or before if I get any worse or bad thoughts continue.
I feel I'm able to talk to her but she is only there for 6 months as a temporary cover, I didn't get anywhere with last doctor there, unfortunately my old GP retired 2 years ago and they have struggled to keep a permanent replacement. The other GP there is ok but diagnoses you before you sit down. I hope she stays, I'm already anxious about her going and starting again with someone else, I always worry about something that has not even happened yet.
So curled up on sofa with duvet and my fluffy babies who love it when I'm home! The weather has certainly turned again and I begrudge having heating on.
Do feel its helping me putting my thoughts down here, sorry I ramble, you don't have to read!
Thinking of you all, take care

Hi Twinkle,
Thank you - yes my doc was very good, offered me counselling, but did advise me there is a 12-16 week waiting list0 -

Hi and welcome, sorry your going through some tough times.
Have you applied for any tax credits at all? I get free prescriptions with my tax credits which is a huge help. Also, I've just been diagnosed with a complex anxiety disorder (eek) and the doc told me it would be 4 months before i got a pyschologist appt, but one came through in around 4 weeks. so fingers crossed that you will be just as lucky.
I know its hard to remain positive when life is throwing everything at you at the once, but walking/exercise is a really good way to boost up endorphin levels. and dont worry about crying when out, I stick my sunglasses on and have my ipod blasting (the glee soundtracks are great smile inducers at the min) and ignore the world.
Hope today has been bearable for you tho:heartpuls:heartpuls:heartpulsPrincesses wear crowns to remind them that they are beautiful and special because some days its easy to forget. :heartpuls:heartpuls:heartpuls0 -

Welcome to the thread hun. And thank you for sharing your story, for me the worst bit was taking the plunge and posting for the first time - so you've at least got that behind you
Gosh you have an awful lot on your plate right now. I agree with twinkle that you should take the meds prescribed by you doc and that you should put yourself down for counselling also. I know it sounds like a long time to wait, but the sooner you're on the list, the sooner you'll get seen. In the meantime, do you have friends that you could talk to? Often the worse thing is having to carry all that stress on your own. And are you able to share your worries with your o/h at all? I'm wondering if he is so stressed trying to look after the business it might be difficult for him to give you all the support you need?
Take good care and you are very welcome to post here anytime you need to

Thank you Vicki and Sazbo, I find it difficult to explain how your replies make me feel... It almost felt like the first time someone has listened to me.
Re tax credits, I will have a look into that tonight when I'm home.
OH - I've not even told him how I am feeling - we had a blazing argument the other day about DD - his words "She need to grow up". My response "That's not helpful" and it deteriorated from there:o. He doesn't let things lie easily and will see me not coping as me blaming him IYKWIM?
No friends, and family live the other side of the country. I tried talking to Mum last week but just put my brave face on (I know I shouldn't have - but I couldn't help mysef)0 -
ah, DITTO!! My friends are all still in Edinburgh, and although we do keep in touch, its not really the sort of thing you can just drop into a facebook chat session is it?!? lol My mum and I are incredibly close tho but i've kept my issues to myself until recently, and as its only just come out she feels like she has let me down as " I should be able to talk to her about anything" - sometimes its easier to talk to strangers.
Glad to be an ear to listen tho:heartpuls:heartpuls:heartpulsPrincesses wear crowns to remind them that they are beautiful and special because some days its easy to forget. :heartpuls:heartpuls:heartpuls0 -
