sh1305, i actually spend more time on here when i'm depressed cos i cant be motivated enough to do anything else. good that you havent run away, well done.
Same here. And thank you.:)am so tired today, with not sleeping well. my ex is making me so angry  by texting me again, so what if hes got someone new, i'm not interested, just hope he dosent treat her like he did me. still puzzled tho, how someone who started off so nice could turn so bad
hugs all

So true! I used to get harrassing texts from an ex when he was drunk etcetc, so I managed to get orange to change my number for free. I just phoned them up and gave details of all the calls/texts and they agreed to change it. Not sure if they still do this, as this was a few years ago.
I think the best thing to do is not give him any more of your energy. Dont reply, dont rise to the bait, you're better than him. If he still feels the need to hound you to boast about new relationships etc, then that shows what a weak and needy person he was, and you are a million times better than that!:heartpuls:heartpuls:heartpulsPrincesses wear crowns to remind them that they are beautiful and special because some days its easy to forget. :heartpuls:heartpuls:heartpuls0 -
thanks for all your replies, deffinatly wont be replying to him anymore, he so isnt worth it. over the school hols, my phone will be kept turned off, i only have it really so schools can contact me if needed while i'm out. all my friends phone me on my house phone

Hello all,
shazrobo, sorry you had a bad night, hope you get some rest tonight. I'm a terrible sleeper and know what you mean about all the images and in my case worry that keeps going through your mind. My new anti-ds are helping with the sleeping at the moment. ignore the ex, you are better than him, live your life for you not him - advice I keep being given at the moment.
sh1305, so what if you are on here, if it helps you and keeps your mind active then that is good. I'm getting more annoyed with people who have an opinion on how you should be when you are depressed. Everyone is different and depression hits people in different ways. AgainI was told I looked better today but they could tell my throat was bad. So I told them they can't see or hear depression so perhaps they could think about what they say. Well done on not running away, as someone said to me on here be proud of what you have achieved.
beachbeth - I share your joy of the NHS..lol! I remain a mystery to them with my stomach pains that flare up, despite ultrasounds, endoscopy etc. I had my gallbladder removed in 2002, had an ultrasound last year due to pains again so sent for scan on liver and scanner said she would check all over then said couldn't find my gallbladder..was annoyed when told her it was long gone! Who knows what the GP put on referral form.
As for me, woke up feeling better. Decided to go to work, but soon felt overwhelmed and as though a huge pressure field being put around me. Managed to cope all day, but straight in my pj's when got in. Tempted to have a drink...not sure a good idea on anti d's and anti biotics. Looking forward to long weekend although my BF is working from Saturday:(.
Somebody (sorry useless with names) mentioned the book Shoot the Damn Dog. I got via Amazon and finding it useful as can relate to everything read so far and how I'm reacting. Reading it is like when I'm talking to one of my close friends who still suffers from depression and understands what I say to them - make sense?
An evening of football looms, so may pop back. If not best wishes and take care of yourselves

You really do feel that the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing with the NHS!
It always makes me laugh when watching programmes like Casualty or Doctors because that is just not how the NHS behave at all! No matter what strange symptoms people have they always get diagnosed and sorted out with no problems! The staff always have a lot of time to talk to people about their problems too. They are always following the patients outside the hospital to have a heart to heart!:rotfl: How often does this really happen in the NHS!
So sorry you are having trouble sleeping, Shaz. Have you spoken to your doctor about this? I know its not a permanent solution but he may be able to give you a mild sleeping tablet or tranquilliser just to get you off to sleep. This could break the cycle of not sleeping? I was given some tranquillisers last year when I was really struggling and having a hard time with things. I knew I couldn't rely on them or keep taking them because they are addictive but they really helped calm me down and I had the best night's sleep ever whenever I took them. Please talk to your doctor if you haven't already. Apart from that all you can do is exercise and have a good winding down time in the evenings, perhaps including a nice, hot, herbal bath and a nice herbal tea (I find peppermint tea relaxing).
All the best - BB. xxx0 -
Hi all, sorry I haven't been around for a while I've been having a bit of a difficult time. To cut a long story short I ended up being sectioned. I have now been discharged and am in respite for another week. I've also put in a bid on the councils website for a houseshare. It's specifically for people with mental health problems and comes with support. *fingers crossed* I get it.
Welcome to all the new people and (((HUGS))) for everyone.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--
