Anyone up? been quiet on here tonight. Was supposed to have a big night out with some mates, but have been ditched for an empty pub and a boyfriend. I told them how I needed to have a laugh and blow off steam but I feel like no one listens, I'm screaming for help and none of them care. yet I can't make myself do anything about it. I moan an d moan and keep geting worse yet can't make myself get out of this hole.

Hi,I am still up,sorry your friends were not supportive maybe you need to find differant ones.I have read a few of your post but not sure if you have been to see your gp?I know its not the same as going out but have you got any comedy dvds you could watch maybe laughing at them will help lift your mood a little.

Hi, I'm still up! (insomnia/anxiety/depression mixture plus a horrible skin condition which gets worse ad night- as if it weren't hard enough to sleep already!

I used to have friends which sound like yours. I no longer see them. Its hard finding new people, so just work out what works in that relationship, give and take what you feel able to, some people just don't have it in them to be able to offer any real support. Sometimes people haven't the experience or are not through their own hurdles yet and don't have the stregnth...there are many reasons I guess. But if its not working for you, move on- life is too short to be stuck in any type of relationship where you are miserable.

Can you find any support groups in your area? n/b there is a difference to psychiatric groups and general support groups- psychiatric groups are where you don't see the members of the group between sessions, support groups are a bit more laid back then that. Your GP may know of some or have contacts to people who may have some in your area. I know that co-depenant relationships are seen as wrong (they can be a huge risk to either person in them) but I learnt so much, made so many friends and just gave me a far greater friendship group then I ever knew- it was then that I could really see my old "friends" for what they were. We had started off such a close knit group but after a few years, it was just so shallow. I ended up very anorexic BMI 13/14, (not as a result of them though) but not one of them took me aside and asked if I needed any help. It was sad that they had been once so close yet had become so !!!!!y and shallow, I did get help in the end, but only after I wanted to go on a school trip and realised my eating was preventing me from doing so.

There are good people out there- don't stop looking!

Do you get any councelling or theraputic help? your GP may be able to help you with that too- it can make a real difference, remember that even if you do have the most amazing friends, if they do their jobs well, they will 'just' be there for you, they wont drag you out of a hole, they just hold your hand whilst you do the digging. A good friend is someone who sticks around and cares. Its you who does all the work.

Whats going on at the moment? your post doesn't give much away- hope your able to keep your head above water at the moment- please get some help, things can get better and support and/or therapy can make a huge difference too.

    :hello: Everyone,

Hope all is well,I am fine :) was angry last night so I didnt post at all.Hardly slept last night but I will be ok.I am going to my parents for lunch and then on to a church service.I am walking to the church as need to clear head and think as I am seeing my ex boyfriend today so want to think rationally and just be confident and be myself around him.I might get a physcologist in I think to help me get over relationships and not contact the ex boyfriend by mobile phone or even text, finding it hard to cope again but I am strongwilled and can battle through.A Friend rang last night and said I have to accept them for as they am basically.I still have feelings for them and that is something I cant shake off.

    *hugs*

    Have a lovely day!

    love and light,

Much the same as I've been all week, I'm not even going to say it, I'm so fed up listening to myself, lol.

I'm going to go and watch a bit of tv, House is on and I've recorded it so I can zoom past the adverts.

I'll speak to you all tomorrow, sweet dreams,
    Alison
