Sounds yummy
Shaz
Hows you?
I usually like a drink or 2 during the week but since starting the ad's i haven't kind of scared as to how i will feel drinking on them. Just trying to break the days down and get through each bit, nearly a wek now on the pills so hopeful i will be feeling more human soon, very tired though.

Tough one, people that don't experience mh probs don't understand how hard it is,my oh had always known about my depression but he rarely understands.

The one who said that getting help is easy claims to have been a self harmer. Any self harmer I've talked to, has said it's not that easy. Many of them waited years before getting help.
She also said I can go straight to the CMHT first instead of my GP. ANyone know if this is true? I think I'm too old (almost 21) for CAMHS?Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

I'm ok, thank you for asking Mouse, how are you this evening?
Nice win Katie, I hope you enjoy the choocies, eat an extra one for me.
Sh, I totally agree with you, it is hard to get the help you need, admitting it's a problem is the hardest part, I still try and justify it to myself, thankfully I have someone I can contact if I feel the need. I hope you get the support you deserve.
Hi Shaz, I hope you've had a good day, I've been having another night on the wine, but I've made a vow to myself, not to buy any more for a week or hopefully longer, I hope you are ok this evening.

Yes that is true xHere dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

morning everyone, hope everybody is feeling as well as they can be this morning.
had an ok day yesterday, but i really struggled last night, ended up texting my ex, which i promised myself i wouldnt, i miss him so much of an evening, i'm coping well during the day, and keep myself busy, but on a night i just feel so numb and empty, and lonely.
anyway ex dosent care less, hardly suprising he didnt care much when we were together. but i ended up crying myself to sleep. not a night goes by that i dont cry, unless i'm too drunk and fall asleep.
on a positive i didnt drink last night, and feel better for it this morning,
alison, just take it one day at a time not drinking, this is what i'm doing, just aiming for two alcohol free nights a week, which i can do, any more right now is a bonus, that way i dont feel like i failed, which i would if i said i'm not going to drink for a full week. good luck with it hun
sh, i'm pretty sure your too old for camhs, dont know about accessing cmht without your gp, my doctor refered me.
mouse, the first week on anti d's is the hardest, they take a few weeks to get into your system properly, but you should start to feel teh benefits soon
hugs all
shaz xxxenjoy life, we only get one chance at it:)0 -
I'm celebrating 36 hours without a panic/anxiety attack (I was getting them even at home!) and I don't think it's coincidence that my co worker hasn't been in the office since Tuesday (shame he will be back next Tuesday
) Here's hoping he's using the time wisely - hopefully looking for another job.......
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -
Morning all, I hope you are all ok.
Shaz, I'm sorry you ended up texting him, I think you'll have a happier life without him in it, he never appreciated you and certainly didn't deserve you.
I'm glad you managed to have an alcohol free night, I'm going to take your advice and just take it day by day.

Its hard eh Shaz? do you not have things you could do in an evening, maybe have a friend round? I'm lucky, after my son has gone to bed I always used to get really lonley and then thats when things play on your mind. Now I have my cats for company and its great, always some to talk to and make a fuss of or play with. And it you get affection back in return, sometimes better than a bf!!Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind. They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.0
