Katie, hope you are ok soon.

losingpatience I know what you mean, everything always happens at once doesn't it.

Beachbeth and shaz, My mum is the same as well. My poor dad just sits in the corner and keeps quiet!

Shaz Sounds like you are having a nice evening. Spoil yourself and enjoy it hon. xx

I am deflating a bit now. We had an offer accepted on the house we want and we have accepted one on ours. I was over the moon earlier but now I'm starting to panic. It's all happening too quick and it's scaring me.

Sounds like all our mums and dads are the same!:(

Sandy71, I know what you mean about the house. We sold our house a year or so ago and had our offer accepted on another. It was exciting but very scary at the same time! Hope it all goes smoothly. Just take it one step at a time.

Had no alcohol, Shaz, and Im sure I will feel better for it tomorrow. Ive had bad period pain today though. Hope it has eased by tomorrow. Ive had nice bubble bath and am off to bed to watch a dvd now - One Foot in the Grave. Very funny!

    Goodnight everyone!

Morning everyone! I feel like Ive been drugged this morning. Could hardly open my eyes and my brain has just up and left. Can't get co-ordinated. Its amazing what hormones do to you. I need to drive into town to get a mothers day present but don't feel capable!

Hope everyone else is ok today.

hi beachbeth, (((hugs))), can you not get a present another day, dosent sound like you should be driving today if your feeling so ill. i did it once and bumped my car, was an expensive lesson to learn. had no alcohol last night, and still woke with a headache :(.
going for an aromatherapy massage, later this morning., then this afternoon, i'm going for a drive to a wool shop thats closing down, hoping to get some bargains.
housework will be left yet again til next week, its so overwhelming, i dont know where to start. basics like bathroom, and kitchen, and laundry always done, its living room and bedrooms, so untidy,
    hugs all

I can't go tomorrow because my daughter is having the car to go to college and I have a friend coming in the afternoon. Its her birthday and was supposed to have come Tuesday but I had to put her off to take one of my Pugs to the vets. I also can't go Saturday because I hate driving and parking on a Saturday and it will be more busy because of Mother's Day. I never go down the town on a Saturday - too many people about. So today is the only day.:(

I get fed up. Its always someone's birthday or Mother's Day or Easter or something. People always have expectations about what you should be doing and I find it stressful.

Don't worry, Shaz. Its an easy drive into town and I shall be extra careful. My mum wants a dvd that I can only get in town. I used to have to drive to work all the time whilst feeling this way.:( I hated trying to work when my brain had gone on holiday like this because I used to make mistakes and would put something down and then couldn't understand where I'd put it. Very frustrating. Who'd be a woman?

Please wish me luck - over the weekend, my friend is phoning my parents (neither of whom have ever spoken to him online or whatever) to tell them what exactly has be going on and they'll be all deciding what it is needs to be done to me. I have requested that I'm there when they all do this.

I'm crapping myself. :( To make everything slightly worse, I also have to into hospital tomorrow to have a test on my eyes done.

Good luck, sh13505. I wish I knew more about the situation - not from a nosey point of view - but then we could perhaps advise a bit better. I can understand you not wanting to though. Hopefully it won't be as bad as you think. I have had situations where Ive convinced myself that people will react in the worst way possible and then have been surprised when they didn't. They are your parents, after all, so hopefully it won't be as bad as you think.
