    Hi Sandy.

Sorry to hear about your seizure. Hope you're feeling better today.

rubytuesday, don't be put off posting. There has been a few posts on one particular subject, but it doesn't mean anything, and the place is still here for support

As in real life, if someone sees something that's wrong, they either challenge it, moan about it, or ignore it. I'm a challenger :o but I also know how to move on, having said what I needed to say.

I've read other posts from people who have found a great deal of support from this thread and hopefully you will too. I personally, apologise, if my posts made you feel you couldn't join here.

Pipkin sorry you had a tough time of it yesterday, I hope you get the support you need. Do you have a Japanese connection? I was lucky enough to go once and really loved the place. I'm feeling a bit better thanks, just in the fact that it's friday today, altho I know Shaz doesn't look forward to the weekends as much as I do :-/

    Hi Saz.

Hopefully, now Friday has passed, you will be feeling even better than you was:)

My girls are home educated, and they are learning Japanese, as they would like to go when they are older.

How lovely for you, that you was able to go :)

I've had a change of meds now, and have to increase to the maximum dose, which means I don't feel great today :(

I've been given an appointment with a psychologist to help with managing the pain and accept that there is no cure :) Not sure I can keep to that one. It would probably be easier if they offered it as an email service :D

I also have an appointment as a day patient coming up, to undergo a procedure in order to try and manage the pain. My blood pressure is up though, so they can only do it, if that is ok

Don't worry it was some other posts haven't delved too far back so glad to hear the thread is still supportive.
Just to let you all know I am doing very well at the moment apart from a huge weight gain which I am tackling by trying to walk everyday. (Have lost quite a bit) I have also joined a walking group through Re think and do believe walking is one of the best therapys although it can be hard to find the get up and go to get out there! My main problem is not being able to get up in the morning. Managed eleven thirty this morning which was nothing short of a miricle but I'm working on it !!:)

Well done for refraining from SH ,it is always hard when a relationship breaks down.Have you thought of joining gingerbread or another single parent group? i think other parents will be more understanding of the boys as even children without medical problems can be hard work.

I haven't been on MSE for a long time and am just getting back into it again or should I say addicted again!!

Yes MSE is very addictive in fact it should carry a health warning:o :rotfl:

I'm trying to lose a bit of weight myself. Work and commuting takes up so much time, but I know that's just making excuses really:o But you're inspiring me to make more of an effort:)

Pipkin you're really going through a lot right now. I think you're coping far better than I ever would. I hope they are able to help you with the pain management. Hugs to you xxx

Shaz - you're doing really well, don't let anyone make you feel otherwise. Stupid remarks are best ignored.

Tulip glad you had a nice day. Miro - thinking of you - drop us a line if you can xx Gem how's things with you? Meyore, thinking of you too xx

Right I'm off to put the kettle on, anyone like a cuppa? Then a bit of googling for a holiday in Cornwall:)

I love Cornwall (even though Ive only been once!). Very pretty and picturesque. Ive been wanting to go back there for years but its just the 4-5 hour journey that puts me off. Hope you find somewhere nice. Report back with feedback after your holiday too!

Shaz, ignore these nasty comments. People like that feed on other people's misery and just want to cause arguments. Most people here are with you 100% and would never make a joke about something that is so serious. Hugs for you. ((()))
