Im sorry, Sh1305, about your problems. I know with depression that its hard to convey to people how difficult it can be and a lot of people think you are being self indulgent, so it must be hard for you to convey your own difficulties to people. Hard to be accused of lying when you are already trying to deal with things day to day. Hugs for you ((()))

Thanks. :) This is the first time I've come across being accused of lying about stuff like this. In the past, other people may not have understood; but it's never invovled them accused me of faking it.

Because of last night, I was forced to admit (via email) that the main reason why I keep asking to see a friend of mine, is because he's not judgemental and it's nice to talk about other things. (I went around to see him last night again)

From what I gather, he doesn't fully understand; (he does have a wife with manic depression though) but doesn't accuse me of lying about any of my disabilities. Nor does he belittle me about them.

I thought we agreed to disagree? I spoke about the thread as I understood it. No untruths on my part. I see you didn't have a go at AB when he was posting inappropriate links. Im an easy target obviously.

Im saying no more on the matter. I refer you to my post 2412 where I have explained my thoughts already. Im not continuing to argue. This is not the place for this kind of antagonism.

Yet again, you continue, even though you don't want to argue

I thanked those who said it was out of order. I stated, before it was closed, that it was out of order. I'm saying it now, that it was out of order. How much clearer do you need it to be?

That in no way excuses you bad mouthing another member when he has no idea what you have said. That too, was out of order.

I see what you're doing with your posts, but it doesn't work here.

You may have been discussing the thread how you saw it, I corrected the factually incorrect part of your post. That it what it comes down to.

I have other, more important things to be thinking about today, but as regrads this, we shall see.

How are you feeling today, sh?

I read some of your thread in the arms.

How do things lie with your housemates, this morning?

My one concern, with you seeing - and needing - this friend, is the married aspect. Ignore me, if it's too personal, but does his wife know you are meeting? I hope so, because with her own issues, this could become unpleasant for you all :(

Is there any housemate you get on with more than the others?

It must be really difficult living with people you don't gel with :(

Have you thought about discussing it with a student counsellor? What about your disability support team at university?

    I still feel like crap.

    I haven't seen them yet.

I have asked him this. When we first met offline; (we knew each other for just over 6 years before meeting up) he told her that he was meeting me. (she knows we talk)

When I went around to his a few weeks ago; he said she didn't know - she had just been taken to hospital. We talked last night and he said that she knows I've been around to see him. (well, I think he said "she knows someone has; who is around your age")

He did say last week that she may not be happy about this - in a way, I understand this. So, if we do meet up when she comes out of hospital, we'll have to go to his office. (we're only at his because he has their son to look after)
Is there any housemate you get on with more than the others?

Only the two I don't really see - not because I don't see them; but because they haven't ganged up on me and accused me of stuff I haven't done or said.

There was nothing factually incorrect - people were discussing attention seeking behaviour of depression.

There was a factually incorrect part of your post, in that no-one had said most people with depression were attention seekers. That was untrue on your part, and that is what I corrected.

You are trying to play victim, with all this me finding you an easy target.

I've been around a long time, and will say when I find something wrong. It doesn't matter who it is.

Yes, you know what you're doing and most certainly know what I'm talking about.
