Starting to think I do have mild bouts of depression. Had it a lot last year, and the year before. And having a lot of it these last weeks :(

    Sorry to hear that, Vikki.

Have you noticed a pattern to the way you're feeling? Are there any triggers that you've noticed?

There are many routes you could explore before seeing your GP. I've read that our diet can play a part in mood patterns, so is perhaps something to read up on.

Talking can help, even through boards like these, as they can help you identify if there is something that triggers a bout.

Hope you can find something that helps with how you feel :)

Well I'm back from the doctors. Got to increase one medication and decrease one of the others. I am so fed up with it all, some days I feel like stopping them all together.
I can't have anti D's as they react with my other meds but the doctor thinks I'm ok because I always put on my "I'm fine face"

    Now I feel rubbish :(

Sorry to hear that sandy :(

Hopefully, once your medications sorted properly, you can get the full benefit from them.

Fingers crossed the 'feeling rubbish' doesn't last too long.

At the moment its boredom that triggering it, bored at work and bored when I get home. I have no friends, no life. Go to work, come home again. Suggest a day out to b/f tonight and there is excuses, good valid ones. I just want something small to look forward to. I don't help myself though, as I have been invited to things but don't go.

Many people feel he was wrong to post a link about someone else. You are equally wrong to talk about him in this way, without giving him the opportunity to defend himself.

But I didn't name him - you did! I can't find the post where you named him but I kept it anonymous.

You may not have mentioned ab's name, but people knew who you were talking about.

No, you knew who I was talking about (because you took part in the thread I was talking about). No one else did until you named him.

Should ab have the opportunity to defend himself against your accusations?

As I said before, I spoke about certain things that were said on another thread without naming anybody. You came here onto this thread and caused an argument and told everybody I was talking about AB. This is just inflammatory behaviour.

I spoke about the situation as I saw it. You saw it differently from me and decided to start bad feeling on what is usually a supportive thread.

No, I'm not the only one that knew who you was talking about.

Yes, I mentioned his name, but, as I say, even without his name being mentioned, it was clear who you was talking about.

You spoke about certain things on a deleted thread, some of which wasn't true, and also bad-mouthed another member at the same time. Do you think that's acceptable? Many didn't agree when he linked to the other thread and made a comment about someone when she had no chance to defend herself, unless someone told her. You have bad-mouthed someone who has no idea you said anything about him. Is that fair?

I corrected what was a factually incorrect comment in your post. You may see that as creating bad feeling, I see it as pointing out where something isn't true. I also don't agree with you bad mouthing another user, and hiding behind the fact that you didn't actually say his name. However, he was identified in that post, and even if I was the only one who could identify him [and I didn't know until today that I wasn't], the fact that someone else knew who you was talking about, means it was unwarranted.

I've now out myself in a very difficult position:

The people I live with, had another go at me today; because I'm supposedly lying about my disabilities. I then said "I suggest you look up Nystgamus and whilst you're at it, look up head injuries".

One of them said it seems convenient that I've only just mentioned my head injury. I personally don't feel the need to discuss my health problems with other people. (plus, despite having sustained the injury 9 years ago; it's only just started to affect me - someone on here said that's not unsual)

I then stormed off and went wandering for a few hours. I asked the security office to let me back in and got asked a load of questions - where had I been, how long (I had lost track of time) and why was I only wearing trousers and a jumper.

The people I live with had a go at me. I ignored them and went out again. (not wandering - to see a friend; as planned)

I have no idea what I'm going to do now. :(

I can't believe I'm admitting this; but I really need help - it's just having the guts to admit that something really is wrong with me.

Their reactions aren't helping me at all.

    :(

    Hi guys!hello.gif
Yep - me again. Welcome to Purrsday everyone! sFun_mornincoffee.gif
I'm sending a warm Tiffy sSig_welcometoourclan.gif to sh1305 (sh), sandy71 (sandy), vikki, msred1 (msred) and chocolate80 (choc).sLo_hug2.gif I'm sure you've all had a warm welcome from the lovely people on here and I look forward to getting to know you. And also ''nice-to-see-you-again'' hugs to sazzy, gem, beth, cb2, shaz, jennie, blinky, wvw, lm, dinky, ccstar, cara, fg, rbk, waldo, trumpton, pug, mum, donkey and pipkin.sLo_hug2.gif And finally, some ''where-the heck-are-you?'' hugs to ettie b, miro and katie-tulip!sLo_hug2.gif I hope everyone is as well as they can be right now - I've missed you all.

Thank you for the kind shout outs in your posts guys. I visited the thread late last night to post and saw them as I read back over the last few pages and promptly had a session of Tiff tears. I know that quite a few are going through a rough time and yet you've still given me a mention.angel-smiley-002.gif It means a lot, especially as I feel I owe you all a big apology.
You'll have noticed that the last 3 months has seen the worst Tiffing history on record and also a distinct lack of blue smarties and cat pics.hanghead.gif Verily, as you may have guessed, all is not well at Tiff Towers. I've posted when I could but I've let a lot of peeps down by not giving them the individual replies that I usually give and that they deserve - and for that I'm very sorry. I'd never just ignore someone. Equally, I'm sorry for not being my usual fluffy self and for not spilling the beans sooner, as it were. Everything's just really hard right now. And now I've got to say sorry for being so self-centred and feeling sorry for myself - I know this thread isn't all about me. Don't worry, I'm fine. There again, you've probably all been enjoying the peace and quiet! sCo_watchout.gifbiggrin.gif
Anyhoo folks, I just wanted to explain and also to warn you of the impending arrival in a few days time of the next chapter of 'The Tiff Chronicles', which will hopefully explain things better. It's way overdue and is taking up far too many brain cells.rolleyes.gif

I hope to be back later peeps and post some proper replies.
Safe journeys and be kind to yourself. sLo_hug2.gif

I thought we agreed to disagree? I spoke about the thread as I understood it. No untruths on my part. I see you didn't have a go at AB when he was posting inappropriate links. Im an easy target obviously.

Im saying no more on the matter. I refer you to my post 2412 where I have explained my thoughts already. Im not continuing to argue. This is not the place for this kind of antagonism.
