lol lady M!:D We both love them and honestly last night they were amazing. How's things with you hun?
Saz xxxI love Porcupine Tree.
I'm okay, thank you. Extremely tired and hurting though. I have to have a blood test to check my body for any inflammation tomorrow. The doctor thinks I might have inflammatory arthritis.

Hugs for you, LM. I hope the blood test shows nothing horrible up. I had one recently and was really worried but everything was normal. I think you convince yourself that its not going to be normal results though.
Ive never heard of Porcupine Tree. What sort of music is it?
My meal went ok on Friday. The place we went was virtually empty and so that made it bearable for me. My friend is really lovely and she noticed that I was looking low. I told her it was the time of year, which I think it is partly. Im not ready for the summer to leave (if you can call it summer.:( ) I didn't tell her I had been anxious all morning about going there for a meal because she would have felt really guilty. She has told me she wants a gift voucher for Christmas so that makes it a really easy present. I prefer it when people tell me what they want.0 -
:hello: Everyone,
Hope all is well,I am fine today.Went to Mums for dinner and then went to my Causeway group.I then went to a pub before I came in as I wanted to see my friends there and have a drink.
relaxing tonight,I open the smartie cupboard with my key and find to my horror all the smarties have gone
Who has taken all the Smarties then without my permission?
I replenish them and then take some, give some out to everyone and then padlock the cupboard door closed.Saz please keep an eye on the cupboard door thanks.I pass you a spare key.Guard it with your life.
thanks

Evenin' all :hello:
LM hope all goes well with blood test - keep us posted hun xx I'm good thanks sweetheart, wishing it wasn't that day beginning with 'M' tomorrow... but hey ho
Beth - glad the lunch went ok but what's all this - discussing christmas presents in October?! :eek:Porcupine Tree's music tends to get labelled as 'progressive rock' which is more or less an accurate description, sort of akin to Pink Floyd in some respects, but it really is the kind of music that is so multi-layered that I'd say almost anyone would get something from it. PT have been around for yonks but only coming to prominence now, maybe on the back of the current resergence in prog rock, so their new album, The Incident, has got them into the top 30 for the first time and their recent tour dates in the US completely sold out, as did their gig in Hammersmith on Friday night, so we were very lucky to see them there.
Tulip - sounds like you had a nice day. And say no more - I will of course guard the spare key with my life;););):D
Hope everyone else is doing ok.
Ok well I'm off to have what's left of the weekend.
Much love to everyone

I've had a good day. Its been the first that I didn't have to ferry DH around as he got his licence back on Wednesday. He's been over near Rhynie today helping his friend butcher a pig so we got some nice fresh chops! I'll cook them tomorrow. Anyway, I was able to get on with housework, got almost all the washing done, etc. Even got the bed changed!
Tulip, promise it wasn't me who was in the smartie cupboard
hope everyone sleeps well tonight, I know its the day that starts with M tomorrow but its still a few hours away
