Hugs Shaz - I really wanted to reply to you yesterday but work was so frantic I never got the chance:rolleyes: But I agree with what Amber said hun, that perhaps if you were living together then at least you'd have one set of outgoings rather than two? Especially, as you say, if he were able to let out his place. Or perhaps he could spend at least part of the week with you? Say Fri to Mon? Just my rambling thoughts anyway hun - you seem so good together, wishing there was some way to make it work, that's all:) xx And yes, I am officially adding my vote for a pic of the ring!:D

Plushy - I'm so envious that you can do your own hair - I spend a small fortune having it coloured and cut but even more than the cost, I resent the time spent sat in that flippin chair and having to small talk with the hairdresser. I'm rarely in the mood, tbh:o And because of this I've left it so long since the last time, it's really looking hideous now:o Maybe I'll go sort out an appointment tomorrow for next week... It really does lift my mood when I've had it done and it's one of the few "luxuries" I allow myself, so I shouldn't begrudge it, but I'd love to be able to do it myself!

Poppy I'm glad you're a happy cracker this morning:D If I ask Gilly Badger nicely praps he could do you and Tiff new kitchens;) He's a dab hand with DIY, considering he's a badger:D :rotfl:

ETA: Beth - maybe if you explain to your friend that you'd feel more comfortable going to your usual place, perhaps she'd understand? I'm sure she wouldn't want you to feel anxious about going to somewhere new. Hugs xxx

As for finances, since having your own car is essential, I'd be looking at the possibility of Ian renting out his house and see if that's financially viable.

if i sold mine, i would be housebound with the children, because i cant manage them both on public transport by myself. i actually use my sons dla to pay for car, as its for the childrens benefit, i often use bus when out on my own, as i have a free bus pass.

Hope all is well,Shaz what a beautiful ring,Ian has given you.Its really stunning!.I hope you two manage to sort things out re living together eventually.Just enjoy what you two share for now.

Anyway I am alright,Last Sunday was amazing,I was on Radio Devon at 8.20am.I did send the link in here for you to listen if you were awake early.I went to the Exeter Cathedral in the afternoon.I met some people who were nice.I have got a new Nokia 5800 phone on Contract.Its really nice and its so easy to use.I can use it on the bus now and when I am out so I am one lucky girl and I am looking after it well.Got a new case for it.I got some flowers for £1 for my flat and they look nice in a vase in my Kitchen.

I am off now as I am going to make something to eat for tea but wanted to call in here before I went off.

Shaz what a gorgeous ring! Beth - how did lunch go with your friend?

Hope everyone's enjoying their Saturday. Me and Badgie were dirty stop outs last night - a friend of mine got us guest passes to see our fave band - Porcupine Tree - playing at the Hammersmith Apollo and then to the after show party - it was a brilliant night. Didn't get home until 1.30am but what a night, we'll always remember it.

Had a gander round town this afternoon - it was almost a summer's day. Chilling out now with Strictly and X Factor.
