Well I transferred a lot of videos onto the Tocco Ultra as I'm using the same memory card as my old phone (LG Viewty) and the sound is still clear. I took a video earlier to see what it was like recording from the handset itself and it sounded the same - still clear.0 -
Anyone else using this yet?
What you liking/ disliking about it?0 -
Can anyone confirm if this phone suffers from these issues....
a) Zooming while recording video causes the zoom to jump creating very jerky playback.
b) Very obvious distortion in video audio recording.
c) Zooming in on photos in the photo viewer only zoomins in a tiny amount even at 10x. (This must be a bug.)
d) Cannot enter more than about 12 characters in the first field of a calendar entry0 -
Right then, so how are we all finding this phone now?
Are you loving or enjoying it?
Reviews are mostly bad from users so far!0 -

I had a play around with the phone instore today and what people say about the texting is true. Keypad is just about big enough but moving the cursor to the middle of the word is almost impossible and will take a lot of getting used to. Fairly easy to move it between words though and presumably will only get easier. The touch seemed to flow well, not as clunky as the 5800. I've never had a touchscreen or a samsung before so everything felt new and obviously I only played around with it for about 10 minutes but it felt good. I put the backlight brightness right down to the minimum setting and that wasn't too dull and presumably a great way to save on the battery life.0

I'm caught between a Tocco Ultra and the LG Arena. Current phone is a Samsung G600 (last 3 have been Samsungs) and it's been a good reliable phone.
Tried to Tocco Ultra mainly to see how I got on with my fat fingers and the touchscreen and it seemed fine. Didn't get to look at the texting though.
Currently waiting on the Arenas to get into the shops to try them out before going to retentions with my requests. Why on earth the manufacturers put the "dummy" phones into the shops without having a working version - especially with touchscreen phones - seems daft to me!!!2025: 3xBluRay, £800, Book, CD
2024: £125, 3xCD, 2xBooks, BluRay, 1 Vinyl, Game,
2023: Garment Bag, Perfume, £100,TortillaChips,Rituals Set, Book, BluRay.
2022: Mobile Phone, Earbuds, Hair stuff, Book, DVD, Stampsx2.
Biggest - £1000 cash,£750 cash, Holiday, KenwoodChef, 2xMobiles, Hotel+Gig, Wii, 2xTVs, £500 voucher, Tree(!), Jewellery0 -
RMS its not up to the manufacturers to put live demo handsets out, thats up to the networks themselves and how much they want to risk them being stolen or damaged etc, go to a 3 store they generally will have all of the latest handsets live and on lanyards for you to have a play.
