I got this phone yesterday, It seems ok so far, havent really had much time to play around with it.
texting is a little difficult to do quickly as there is no back button, so if you notice a mistake 4-5 words back you have to use really tiny fingers to put the cursor there, as there no cursor.
so its a little tricky
The camera is amazing, takes very good pics
I will have a bit more of a fiddle with it in a bit, but it is a stylish looking phone0 -

Is it really difficult to drag the curser to the letter/word you want to delete?
Also, hows the sound quality from videos?0 -
Its a little bit tricky, depending on your finger size, i had to do it with a couple of attempts, but I am getting used to it now, is a tad frustrating when you have wrote a long text, so you have to make sure its word perfect. you can use the button on the side to help you, i am looking at the vodafone forum at the moment to see if anyone has a way of doing it........ sometimes they come up with a way of doing it, but im not sure how if there is no back button, as the middle button, cancels your texts........
I havent watched any of the videos yet......... must do that later, as I wasnt sure if free unlimited internet use meant i could watch videos for free too, but the screen colour and quality is fab, its like look at a mini 1080p lcd tv, it is fantastic quality.0 -

I typed a long reply earlier and it disappeared Blah! I've only had a brief play with the phone this morning.
I have experienced the same thing as you with texting, I find it very fiddly indeed. Although there is a back button, its on the touch screen (back arrow). The mistakes in the middle of the texts are annoying, quite hard to be precise and point the cursor in the correct place - but I think with more time and practise we can improve
Have yet to try out the other functions. Another thing that annoys me is the "No Alerts" message on the main screen... just wondering if yours is like that too?0 -
I havent overly used mine, used up alot of battery whikst on the phone again to vodafone, but i am a lot more happy now with my deal.
yeah i noticed the back button, would be better is one of the three buttons was a proper back button, have tried all three of them and they just ask do i want to cancel my draft text.
i hope we can improve, or maybe have surgery for our fingers to be smaller and thinner
I am going to put some music on it later tonight, so i hope the quality will be good. the alarm is very loud! Woke up the whole house this morning, he he he
Where abouts is the no alerts thing?? I havent seen that bit............
i was annoyed I couldnt put my hotmail address down for my emails, on the email appilcation.
I have a funny feeling the battery life wont last for ages, due to internet useage.
Did you get a 1gb memory card with yours?? Think i am going to have to get an 8gb one though, they seem pretty cheap.0 -
Hi All
If you don't mind me asking, what's the cheapest deals you have managed to get on the samsung ultra tocco?
I'm currently with Vodafone and have been with them for over 7 years, although I only pay £15 per month for 125 minutes and 100 texts. I called 191 and they offered me an 18 month contract for £25 per month for 600 minutes and unlimited texts. This works out approximately the same price for a new customer signing up through Quidco with the £120 cashback.0
