Anyone have the Samsung Tocco Ultra yet?

I got mine a day early yesterday and agree it is very fiddly. Think it will take a while to get used to.
My main problem with it is trying to press to tick a box when I want to mark emails to be deleted, and also texting.... has anyone worked out haow to change a word when using predictive text??
On the plus side, the camera is very good, as is the video. Both are really clear, even when fully zoomed. I keep catching the zoom button underneath when pressing the shoot button, will have to keep practising! It takes really good pictures in the dark too!!♥.0 -
yes bits of it are fiddly and some things seem tedious but isnt that always the case when you get a new gadget, one thing i dont like at all is the max of 10 names that can be added to a text, there is no need for that nowadays, 50 would be of more use

Oops not 'no alerts' I mean 'No Event'. Its a little box that sits on the main screen.

Yep, when you've finished inputting the letters for the word you want, whilst its still selected, press the 0 key to shift through the different words available.
Had a little play around with the camera, have to say the pictures came out pretty good - but haven't transferred any pictures to the PC yet so have to see about the actual quality.0 -
Is the on screen C button far away from the keypad seen as therres none on it when your texting?0

Yes it is quite far away - its a back arrow pointing rather than a "C" button.makershaker wrote: »Is the on screen C button far away from the keypad seen as therres none on it when your texting?
When composing a message, at the bottom of the touch screen there are 2 rows of buttons and the arrow button is on the top row. Hope that makes sense!
My screen is greasy already, so looking a bit dirty when the screen is turned off, thinking of getting a screen protector for it.0 -

I'm thinking of going for the Samsung Pixon instead, seems the same phone but has a larger screen and takes better quality videos.0

I'm getting more used to it now and I really like it!
The camera and video really are good, the reason I chose this phone was for those, so thankfully I'm happy!
Thanks for the predictive text tip, don't know how I managed not to figure that out!!
I think the battery is poor, but I'm playing with it a lot so its hardly surprising its running down!
All in all, it takes a bit of getting used to (but thats half the fun!!) I'd reccommend it.♥.0 -
