I'm a bit late, but is it ok if I join in? Perhaps if I actually *commit* myself to losing the weight on here, then it will make me stop eating so damn much!

Will find out my exact weight in the morning and start from there... I know I've put on at least 21lbs since xmas :S so not good!

Right. Want to state this publicly so that I can't 'cheat' later. Last night's weight: 9 stone 12 and a half pounds. Perhaps that doesn't sound terrible, but I'm only 5 foot nothing, so that (according to NHS calculator thingy http://www.nhs.uk/Tools/Pages/Toolslibrary.aspx) makes my BMI 27.1, and me officially overweight. So here's to being 7lbs lighter in 28 days. Hope everyone is doing ok - I had a good day yesterday (walked rather than jumping on buses) but I can normally do great for a couple of weeks, it's after that I get bored and give in... Thanks for letting me join in, hope it'll be the extra motivator I need!

morning all, thanks for adding me to the challenge :)
    weighed yesterday at 137lb
I've been on calorie count website and it says to lose 7lb in a month is too much for me, but I will focus on getting rid of the rubbish food and seeing how I do.

I've done 30mins on wii fit this morning, didnt do any muscle or yoga though so would like to get on it again later to do some.

Hope everyone has a good day :)

Hi Guys, sorry to bother you but what im after is a free, of course, diet plan, something that tells you what to eat, & when to eat it! ha ha I know this is very personal but if there is a sort of template for adult men something that can be tailored to individuals id be delighted!
I guess im asking for a lot but unless you ask you dont get!

If this plan included optimum exercises or something that would be even better!

Welcome to the group Darth Marty (and littleemmie, ailuro2, Caterina, CompletelyLost) :D

Darth - the Calorie Count site on the first page is free, that will let you know how much you can have to eat on a daily basis and if you also use the forums on there (I believe there is one set up especially for men) then someone will be able to give you a hand with a daily plan I suspect! Please stay here as well though!

Welcome bex and completely lost - hopefully you'll find your way to weight loss with the rest of us! Let us know if you spot any short cuts!!

I've just got back from the gym and DD went in the creche again which she loved thankfully! They are open in the holidays next week so will put my two DS's into playscheme for the days that i go to gym - i know i need to keep going and if I miss a session then I'm doomed!! I also managed 30mins of wii fit last night during apprentice - 2300ish steps in half an hour!!

Had eggs for brekkie and about to have a jacket potato with lots of chicken and salad (no cheese boo-hoo!) for lunch. Need to drink more water - keep meaning to buy the flavoured stuff from homar bargains but keep forgetting! Find it so much easier to drink 2litres of that than tap water - not very MSE i know!

Going shopping in a bit to look for clothes for this July Wedding, and feeling less stressd than i normally would because i know i will be a lot thinner than i am now.

    Hi all

Breakfast of pancakes with my friend but the jam was low-sugar (so there heehe). Also had fresh blueberries in the pancakes, that makes them healthy!

Went to GP practice nurse and the weight is 14 st 1 lb (arghh but I knew I had topped the 14 mark again).

Aerobics class, nice and energetic (low impact but fast) and then a good walk across the heath.

Lunch: 3 salmon fish fingers cooked in frylight, large mixed salad with a small splash of hemp oil and lemon juice, 1 large slice wholemeal toast.

Going to try and eat sensibly rather than follow a diet as such.

    Good luck in April everybody!
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).
