  • Smallpackages - I'm so jealous! I'd love to be out cycling in the sun! Don't have a nike though, but it's defo on the wish list!! I'm sure all that exercise will pay off - don't be disheartened if it doesn't happen immediately though - I always find that if I start exercising & dieting at the same time, that it takes a good 4/5 weeks before the weight literally just drops off - and usually overnight too!! Fingers crossed you'll get a good result though! :D

I am starting April at 60.5kg... 0.1kg heavier than on 1 March!!! :( I am so confused, I'm losing inches but not weight! At least I look better, that is something - but this is meant to be a 'lose half a stone challenge'!

Ah well, what can you do. I'm going to carry on as before with the exercise etc and here's hoping. I have a wedding to go to this weekend, eek! But I'm off on hols towards the end of the month and that should sort me out, I am hoping for some weight loss there. Yahoo!!!

OK, I am going to stick with the positivity. Let's go for it again this month ladies!! :)

  • Tara - at least you're losing something!! I'd much rather lose inches than weight as well - the scales only show a number - inch loss shows up on the waist - and that's far more important IMHO. :D I wouldn't care if the scales said I was 50 stone - if I could fit into a nice smaller size and be comfortable in my clothes! (OK - so at 50 stone I'd maybe care a bit - since I'd need to be about 15 foot tall to fit into a smaller size - but you get what I mean! ;) )

But you're on - lets have a good April!

Please can I join in too? I'm going to be a bridesmaid the first weekend in May and would love not to feel a complete frump in my dress next to my skinny sister - 7lbs would definitely help!

Welcome newbies! if only we could all lose weight as quickly as we're attracting newbies, it'd make the challenge a lot easier!

Feel a bit naughty as ive just had an early bunch which inlcuded 2 penguins - and now i feel sick! Don't know what came over me... missed brekkie as i had to go out and then got caught up in phone calls wheni got back in so decided to leave brekkie and have brunch. Well and truly feel sick and have so mch to do today so better get onwith it!

Have a good day everyone! Sun is shining out in brum, so will try to get out for a walk later - or maybe in a bit to get me motivated!

crapwithmoney - you're right as usual! p.s. when I said that I'm losing inches, it's actually more like millimetres! :rotfl:
