New day today so back on track
Did the whole yoga section of wii fit this morning so 30 minutes of that although I'd rather do a yoga dvd to be honest as the wii fit doesnt flow properly. Will do the jogging later as I have housework to catch up on.
Anyone going to watch "Biggest Loser" next monday 4pm ITV?
Branflakes and yogurt for breakfast so that was a good start.
Have a great day everyone, good luck to all the weigh in's going on today.0 -
Aaaahhhh - another STS for me this week! Seems to be how it's going for me though, I weighed 1lb lighter on Sat, so it seems to bounce back up briefly, then down again for the following - I'm averaging a loss of 1lb every 2 weeks at the mo!
It's a bit frustrating that it's taking so long - but at least it's going off and not on!!
:D
Still - today is the start of a shiny new week - so I will do better!! Fat busting boot camp starts next Monday - so I will be down under 10 stone before it starts if it kills me!
GC I'll not be watching it, I'll be working unfortunately! You can fill us in afterwards though!Well done on the improved Wii fitness!! :T:j Are you excited about the treadmill? Don't beat yourself up about the pizza either, I've seen the day where I'd easily have polished off a full 10"-er, so a third isn't that bad! And we all need a wee treat at the weekends!
Rotherham lass / Charlie - Did you enjoy your breaks away?
Horace - Good news on the blood pressure!! :T:j Being healthy is far more important than anything the scales say!! Well done on dropping the dress sizes too! That's fab news! You must be feeling so pleased with yourself!! :A:D
Dragon - How you getting on with the eating this weekend? Hope you managed to get your fair share of cals down ye!
Have a good day everyone! Hope the sun's shining for all of you too!!
xx0 -
Had a great time thanks CWM. Ate baklava (yum, yum), lamb kebabs, hummous, steaks you name it! Ha ha! Got back and DH has bought me a massive Thorntons Easter egg, it would be rude to say no...... Then I will definitely get back on the healthy eating wagon!0

Charlie1986 - where abouts in Norfolk did you go? I'm in Great Yarmouth and have no sign of sunburn!!
I went to Oulton Broad, Lowestoft. The sun didn't come out until about 3pm each day but I catch it really easy, I have tan lines lol

Hi All,
I've not been online for the last week or so but have been trying to be good. Pulled my neck last week so didn't manage any strenuous exercise (well not in a gym anyway ;-)) but did do a few 2 hr walks and gardening so hey! Have rejoined my local running club as well so am signing myself up for all sorts of jogs and planning to attend it regularly so fingers crossed.
But for now, I'll wish everyone a lovely healthy week and go back to page 7 to catch up on all the goss
Hugs,
NTL
-x-Melt 7 lbs in May challenge - aim to lose 7 lbs
Starting weight: 150lbs (10st 10lbs / 68kgs)
Current weight: 147.7 lbs (10st 7.7/67 kgs)
Ideal weight: 125lbs ish (8st 13lbs / 57kgs) :j - would love to be 8 stone something!!!
Realistic aim: 132 lbs (9st 6lbs / 60kgs) :mad:0 -
Well I have stayed the same again - BUT I am happy with this (and yes I am managing to eat over 1,000 calories on a regular basis now :j), I am still about 7 pounds UP on the start of the month but if I can stay the same for a while and then chip away I will be happy.
One problem I am finding though, my ankles are swelling and getting really tight - does anyone have any idea what I can do to stop/help this?Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Hi dragon, when my legs swelled up I was told to increase my protein intake and also to drink more water. It did the trick, but obviously yours may not be the same problem.... worth a try though? xxI'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0

Thanks LazyDaisy - I wondered about getting some dandilion/nettle tea and drinking that every couple of days - and yes I think I need to drink a pint of water for every 2 mugs of tea!
I'm not sure about increasing my protein though as that normally increases fat as well and I don't want to do that!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Morning all,
Dragon I was going to suggest uping your water intake and RICE them a few times a day. Hope they feel better soon. And well done on the calories too, thats a great step
Well treadmill arrived last night got it all built up (ok so I watched really) and had a little plod for a few minutes. Did it bare foot so ended up with black feet from the belt.
serious this morning though as I git up had a cuppa (with 1/2tsp sugar rather than 1tsp) and a slice of toast, half hour later set the programme for 2miles countdown. Completed in 23 minutes. Was very pleased with my very red self and went for a shower. So I'm sorting out a notebook to record my progress.
Going to walk to my mum's this morning as my dd1 is back at school and dd2 is back to pre-school (she only does tuesday mornings bless her) and see if mum wants to walk back here to have a plod on tready. Mum's overweight and even though knows it finds it hard for sticking to anything. Thought if she knows she can come to mine and use tready for a bit it'd help. Maybe that seems rude but I dont want her ill.
Only a week and a couple of days til the end of my april lose half a stone challenge and I know I haven't come close. So I'm thinking this months was my building block, next month is my focus.
Currently still only -1lb on my bathroom scales.
Have a great day everyone. Enjoy the peace for those who made it through half term lol.0
