New day today so back on track :)

Did the whole yoga section of wii fit this morning so 30 minutes of that although I'd rather do a yoga dvd to be honest as the wii fit doesnt flow properly. Will do the jogging later as I have housework to catch up on.

Anyone going to watch "Biggest Loser" next monday 4pm ITV?

Branflakes and yogurt for breakfast so that was a good start.

Have a great day everyone, good luck to all the weigh in's going on today.

My Fitness Coach for the Wii has a much better Yoga section than Wii Fit - though it isnt as good at teaching you the moves.

I agree, the fitness coach is better. Used to do yoga class and adored it. Wish I still did it. Do use dvds mainly ILoveYoga with Jayne Middlemass and the Geri Yoga ones as well.

Hi all. Not been on for a few days, so busy! Got weighed on Thurs put on half a pound. Not bad as not been good at all! So my total for April is plus half, I'm sure that's not the way I wanted to go! Was going to be really good, but been really bad. Went out with friends from school Fri night - Chinese. Went out with family Sat night - Chinese! Took girls to a Game and Country Fair in Norwich today, lots of dogs which they loved. Had no breakfast and you can imagine how much healthy food there was there! Had a burger. On the way home stopped at a pub for a sunday dinner. I thought I was doing really well, no roasties, no yorkshire, had turkey with new pots and veg. When the new pots and veg turned up, to share with the rest of the family, it was all covered in butter!!!! I had to have some as I was soo hungry.
Never mind always tomorrow!!! I really must try tomorrow. I am 40 in 3 weeks and wanted to be under 12 stones. Yeah, right, like that's going to happen now. But sadly it's no one's fault but my own. If I can aim to loose 1 to 2lbs per week then I may get to be just over 12 on my birthday. Keep your fingers crossed for me, in between now and then I am out for 3 more meals!!! I
Need to sort my life out! :T

Go for it Taffy, you can make great progress in 3 weeks.

Weighed in this morning. 135.4lb (61.4kg) think that means I've lost 1.5lb this month. Cant remember what my start weight was think it was 137lb? I'll have to go back through the thread and find it.

Went out for a jog yesterday was brilliant :) wont get out again til next weekend but got treadmill to keep me going through the week.
Got doctors today. Was going to take dd2 swimming but it will clash so might see if I can take her wednesday instead.

Hope everyone has some sunshine and enjoys the day.

Now focusing on getting up to 7lb off up to the end of May :) Would like at least 2lb off.

    Morning all!
My first post in weeks.... as i fell down the stairs at the start of the easter holidays, broke me leg and have a plaster cast on for 6 weeks in total! Forget the pain - i was more upset and stressed about mising my gym sessions and weightwatchers... and all the fun outdoors activities i had planned for kids holidays went out the window!

So i've had almost 3 weeks in bed and only just able to stand up a bit and put a bit of weight on my leg without it hurting. Don't have a laptop so only just made it onto the pc.

Weight loss wise, well you cam just imagine what sitting and lying in bed all day being fed by family and friends has done to my belly!! Have not been too bad with the junk food and snax, but have been eating whatever people have given me for lunh and dinner. But from today, will be watching what i eat and trying to hobble around a bit more on my crutches.

Sounds like you guys are doing ok- esp tara, dragon, and crapwithmoney. I hope you all manage to lose some weight this month, and realistically i'll probably join in again in June. xx

OMG! Plz I hope you are ok, sounds a right stress. Think you've had a tough enough time without worrying about weight loss.

    Where had April gone!!!!
Sorry i've not been round much this month i've had a bit of a mad month. Hopped on the scales this morning, only the second time this month and not suprising i've sts. My diet has totally gone out of the window this month and it's not being helped at the moment (almost my totm!), my weight can fluctuate by as much as 7lb when i'm due on. I hate it.
Right so i've got 1 week left to make some progress this month so i'd best get myself back on the healthy eating wagon;)
Well done to everyone thats lost weight or sts this month and hugs and kicks up the bum to those who need them - including me!

    Morning,
Did anyone else watch Biggest Loser yesterday on tv?
Got on well at doc's yesterday, blood pressure is spot on and she says I've lost more weight than my scales did but I'll go by mine anyway.
Went out of a run this morning, 2miles non-stop, so very pleased with that. I'm doing a 5km race on sunday so hope that goes well and contributes to a good start to May's challenge.

    How is everyone?
Dragon, you seem to face so much yet you are here encouraging everyone else. Thank you.
Need to focus on the right amounts of food think I'm eating ok-ish but probably filling my plate/cooking too much.

    Be good everyone :)
  • Hi All,

Not been on for a week or so but have been trying and failing to keep to my 1200 cals a day thing. Managed about 1485 a day on average which sounds ok I think, until you hear that all the massive over amounts were boozing on Fri & Sat nights

I tried to drink wine and then water but as I got merrier, the water took more of a back seat! Had a great time though :rotfl:

So I'm back on it for this week again and even though we were out last night, I'm proud to say that I didn't drink any alcohol. Wish I could say the same about this w/end but have a birthday party for a good friend and a wedding for another - whoops! Had better stack up some cals in advance eh?

Need to weigh myself too but haven't got around to it yet. Think I've STS which is ok as its my TOTM this w/end so need to expect funny results.

Posh - well done on yet another loss, you must be looking and feeling great!
Smallpackages - great that you've found a way to overcome the cravings, good tips so cheers for sharing.
GC81 - have you gone from not running at all to being able to do 2 miles non stop in just over a week? That's fantastic stuff! Hope your 5k goes well.
Plzhelpmesave - the fall sounds absolutely horrid, hope you're doing ok all things considered. Don't worry about your weight right now, just try to eat well ish, lots of fruit and veg (great for mending your broken body too!) and most importantly of all, don't feel too guilty if you eat something yummy and naughty.
Taffy - 3 weeks is loads of time - just burn off more than you consume so exercise wherever and whenever possible. I've been trying to walk at lunchtimes a bit (mainly just to get away from the PC!) and I'm sure every little bit helps! My friend who convinced me to go on this 1200 cals/day thing said that you should lose 3lbs in the first week or so as its mainly water, so what do you need to lose? Between us all, we could no doubt suggest yet further small changes/exercises that would help.....
Dragon - sorry to hear you're up but I completely agree with GC81, you're always so kind and encouraging to us all. What would you say to yourself right now?

    Hugs to all,
    NTL
    -x-
