Well, tonight I'm making soup with the carcass from today's roast. It ended up a rather small chicken. I didn't really look at the size but wanted one of farm label ones. Anyway, it was delicious. Enough for salad for 3 of us tomorrow but not enough for sandwiches.
I really enjoyed the lovely sunshine this evening. This extra hour of daylight is lovely.
I dug the front garden (small!!) and tidied it up. I've also bought a tray of lilac pansies and one of yellow so they will go in the pots in the back garden at some point.
Ok folks, I'm off to bed. Sleep tight all
