    Evening all

Hasn't it been a beautiful day! I love the lighter nights!

3 loads of washing dried on line, ironed and put away. Windows now clean and sparkly thank goodness. Been a really productive day, lots of little jobs sorted - went through OH wardrobe and sorted old things for charity shop - he really does have more clothes than me! Must be my fault as I generally buy his clothes as he couldn't care less what he wears usually.

Pork chops, mash and veg with onion gravy for dinner - was lovely.

DD has returned from Lake District tired out, seems they had a great time, washer now going again with her things, you would think she had been for a fortnight not just 3 days!!

Sorry to hear about the cat mummysaver how awful for you.

Celyn it looks fabulous where you are - do keep posting more news and photos - it is so interesting.

Just had a phone call from some friends "t'other side of the Pennines" asking us over to dinner next saturday - that will be lovely we don't get to see them as much lately due to different shift patterns so it will be nice to catch up.

Well have a nice evening everyone, think I might go to bed early and read - I really miss Dancing on Ice!!

    Enjoy your evenings everyone

    xx

    Evening peeps

this afternoon has flown by. I got a text from DH telling me that the house would be unaturally quiet when i got in from w*rk - turns out that he has taken both houndies with him on his fishing trip. Apparently they got the wrong idea and thought that they were going along for the ride too so he had a bit of a guilt trip and unloaded the car and rearranged everything to fit them in and packed a bag for them as well

When i finished w*rk i went straight to homebase :D
I bought some vermiculite to go in my nice new tubs as i`m going to try my hand at square foot gardening this year, i can`t wait to get started.

Topher - I saw lots of pansies in Homebase earlier, i almost bought some but resisted. There are also lots of nice bits and bobs in Wilkinsons too. Nice to see someone else rom this neck of the woods :D

Mummysaver - I am so sad to hear of your poor fluffy cat, ((((HUGS)))) for you and your family :(

Tired Mum - Glad to see that everything got sorted out in the end

Donny - I agree with your rant, bl00dy awful, i think that JackieO has the answer and the woman should be booted out

Pippa S - I hope that you managed to get through the day ok and didn`t throw anything :D

Snoozer - Good to see that you are over the worst of the lurgy now, soon be 100%

I`m off down the garden whilst there`s enough light left to see the plants in the greenhouse, some will need watering and then i can have a good hot shower and a bite to eat. Another early start tomorrow so need to be prepared.

    Have a good evening peeps.

  • Evening all!

Hugs to all who need/want them, especially Mummysaver and family!

Well, all laundry done, shopping done (and still 31p left in personal March Grocery Challenge), and quite a bit of cross stitch done. Bought two more cross stitch mags today - just not enough hours in the day to do all the things that I want to do, rather than the things that I have to do.

Car goes back to the garage tomorrow to have the boot handle replaced. Also have to mention funny noises when manoeuvring in low gear - not sure if these are new funny noises, or if they were previously disguised by massive hole in exhaust noises . So walking to work along the river tomorrow and then hopefully a lift home at night. Just hope the weather stays nice.

Am just going to finish making packed lunch for tomorrow and then I'm going to turn in. Feeling tired because neighbours decided to have a domestic at 3 in the morning  (4am BST) and it took a while to get back to sleep.

    Good night, sleep tight!
