shhhhhhhhh - remnants of hangover - and can y'all stop running around doing things too - making me feel guilty.

hugs Mummsaver - how sad :(

had a fun day yesterday - football with dbro - scrappy draw so we're more or less still talking. Then we went up to dd(19)'s for a half price pizza bonanza and a drinkiepoo or 17. blitzed the house yesterday as i thought everyone was staying at mine so luckily not much to do. am going to lie on the sofa till dd(12) comes home - hopefully fed.

((((mummysaver)))) I'm so sorry to hear about your cat. Such a nasty shock too.

Celyn - no, no cheese sarnies! You have to keep experimenting until you find something you DO like! ;)

Taplady well done to you - an excellent cause.

Seem to have got quite a bit done - the car has been flyladied - cleaned inside (and hoovered) and well cleaned and chamois'ed off outside too. Tyres all checked and inflated as needed. Boot tidied and ready to take all our bags and bits on Thursday night when we pack it up.

I've done the dinner - that was eaten and pronounced delicious so he'll live to fight another day! :rotfl: There's a load in the WM ready to go on but although it's nice and bright outside it's cold so nothing's drying. I guess that load will have to go on the airer once done. With the clocks changing we'll be able to make better use of the cheap electric so WM, DW etc will mostly be going on in the morning now. MrEH will also switch the immersion heater on when he gets up - we'll get that for an hour a day at the cheap rate too which might save us having to put it on the timer overnight - we'll see.

Right - I've just been playing around with my camera and its macro lens with a rather beautiful orange lily that's been sitting on my balcony just begging to have its portrait done so I shall away now and process those I think. :D

    Hi all,

Not a lot going on here - I've had a lurgy for over a week and spent most of it sleeping. Today is the first day I've had any energy. I even took Thursday and Friday off work, I was so fed up with fighting my way through the day and then collapsing at night.

Anyway - os I'm just wading my way through the weeks washing, then will make some sort of pork dish for dinner. DH is painting the hall at last - it's only been on the go 4 months!

Hugs to those in need, especially PP and Aussielass.

    Evening everyone,

What a beautiful day it has been today. The sky is still pale blue now and it is still sooo light makes a change and definitely not complaining!!

Had a productive day. It was lovely to have my OH bring me breakfast in bed this morning first time in ages I have had that. Probably due to him waking up early to watch F1!! lol But was a lovely thought especially as we have not been getting on great for the last few months.

DW and WM have been on today, we washed a duvet today and put it out on the line to dry. OH hoovered my car out and washed both of ours, took dogs to the field and had a swim. Cooked Sweet and Sour Chicken in the SC this afternoon before we went for a walk and just had it and it was absolutely yummy. Definitely will be having this again, even my OH said it was really nice for once!! :)

Just going to have a bath and then I will read everyone else's posts.

Hope everyone has a nice relaxing evening
