I'm declaring for April at £417.77 which is £32.23 under budget :T I'm very pleased as the extra money saved will go towards birthdays, and the Easter holidays were in the middle of the challenge. I'll see everyone on the new challenge.0

Just back from what I hope is my last foray to the shops for April, so time to declare at £104.06
Before resetting for May, my signature for April now looks like this
Food Budget / Spent
£138.10 / £104.06
including
Whoopsie spend / Whoopsie 'real' value
£61.87 / £325.45
My budget for the month still shows as what I originally set it to, but as elder DS then went away for a few days it should really have been dropped to £125.60. And as of the end of March I had an overspend against my annual budget of £9.79 - so I was really aiming for £115.81....... which I've managed to come under by a whopping £11.75 :T
So given I've just bought all the milk we'll need for the next week (hopefully!) and garlic bread for the weekend (and freezer), plus bought mince and sausages on Tuesday ready for next month to save me making an extra trip to Mr T just for these in the next few days, I'm really chuffed about this :j
My signature for the year to date now looks like
Food Budget / Spent
£541.50 / £529.75
including
Whoopsie spend / Whoopsie 'real' value
£198.96 / £771.77
Here's to another successful month in May :beer:Cheryl0 -

My spend in April got quite silly-need to look through the receipts and see what happened, ended up spending £248.98 in the month. Some of that went on restocking the larder and freezer and there was BFs birthday, but still it seems we spent a lot, but on what?
I'm declaring my annual total to the end of April as £689.80
Roll on May where I will have a serious look to the top up shops and plan a little better.

Hi all, declaring at £241.23 for April - £16.23 over budget!
Not as bad as it could have been though, as OH was at home and unsupervised for the best part of 2 weeks!
Will go and start on May's thread now, I've got weeks to catch up on.0
