It's my last shop of April today & I will definitely come in under budget for the month :T I'm putting any money saved towards DS1 & DD's birthdays that are in early May so I've had a good incentive. I hope that this won't be my famous last words................ :rotfl:

Hello all, just checking in with my total for the month. I think I came under budget but can't remember what I posted (which i'll see once my signature is up I think, so this post is going to look a bit silly....)

Anyway Mrs M can I declare £271 for April please!!

And can I put £320 for May's target also!!

    Thanks!

Spent £28.10 in tesco today, which was a bit naughty as I had only gone there as a driver for someone. But I got some candles for 31p and a wooden bin, (for my new cottage) reduced from £10 to £2.50!
I also bought some Jeans, at £8, as mine are all half mast these days. Then there was a 20% discount off of clothes, and a vat refund so they actually only cost me £6.22. Know they are not stricktly food, but I used the budget for them as I am within my target this month!.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Declaring at £246.81 from a £200 budget - pants again!!!

Need to get a grip, back to meal planning, and if son is off with girlfriend - let them get their own dinner!!!

In my defence there was a school holiday so son always eats more, but really must try harder next month.

    Hi Everyone

Just totted up my spends for April and am ready to delare at £369.78.
Quite pleased as I am in budget again.

Please can you put me down again for £375 in May, this may be a litter harder as the freezer is not quite as full at the moment, but will try my best.
  • Mrs M can I declare £361 for April please (£375 budgeted, so very pleased to have come in under budget)

Could I put £280 for May's budget, to run from 1st to 29th May (4 weeks).

    Thankyou!!!

I'm declaring April at £64.30, under my budget of £70! So am pleased with that.
Life is not a dress rehearsal.
  • OK am declaring April at £189.45, so a whole £60.55 under budget. As previously, this will be added to stockpile total so hoping to cover Xmas with no overspend. Also planning to buy in bulk when special offers arise.

I have budgeted £250 again for May, but this will probably be revised up as DD2 and partner + DGS1+2 ( aged 9 months) are planning to move in. This *&%£( credit crunch has hit some home owners v hard.

DD2 and I will combine budgets, meal planning and cooking and childcare. This will work fine for us, but may need some fine tuning.

I am updating my sig now and moving to May GC. See you there guys.

Well i`m shockingly over budget - serves me right really for not checking in here very often to keep me on track :o:o:o:o

I`m declaring at £214.01 for April please MrsM

    A huge 54.01 over :o:o:o:o

I`m off to work out my May budget, fingers crossed cos i need to make room in the freezer.

On the plus side i have bulk bought a lot and if i sat and worked out what the savings are i doubt it would be as bad as it looks (my budget was £160) BUT next month is a fresh start :D

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p
