Are you all packed up now? Any sign of that ex coming to help with the move?

Not in the slightest. Looks like Merry's lil angels didn't pack as much as they led their Dear Mummy to think they did  My friend is coming down from Grays tomorrow and we're going to tootle back and forth with bits and pieces, then it's just the big stuff on Monday.

No comment on ex-man - suffice it to say that the theory that he's avoiding assisting then hoping to slide back in is gaining in popularity  I'm actually off to bed to get a good night's sleep - take my painkillers, etc and be ready for everything this weekend  I have a week to move everything and clean the house up, so I'll do it. I reckon I need to spend some time alone - looks like my Man Radar is definitely malfunctioning! :o

Nite nite all - hopefully you won't hear from me from this house again :hello:

Well the new house is rather fabulous apart from the fact that my wireless internet isn't working, so I'm back to being 'wired' into place! I've had a letter from the old property agents, saying they will be making some deductions - somehow, I knew they would  Grubby gardens and carpets apparently - ah well, will see how much they want to take off me for them!

I have an appointment with my specialist next Wednesday, and I have a date for my DLA appeal on 17th June. Saw a locum the other day, who changed loads of my medication - was quite refreshing, as he said I shouldn't have been on diclofenac for so long without something to prevent ulcers, recommended a different way to take other medication - a breathe of fresh air!

Today was the first time I transferred some money into my 'savings' account - bit of a whoo hoo moment for me there :o And I'm seriously considering saving up for a new car. My little skoda is marvellous, but it's so difficult getting in and out of with my back and now my knees are playing up. I think I need something taller like (I hate to say it) a 4x4, so need to start putting my pennies aside and maybe in a year or so, I can get something  I see loads of new faces so will have a read and catch up on everyone. Tis nice to be back :hello:

Apparently the way to go on the continent. Those big horse pills do tend to stick in the throat when you swallow them... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hope you are finding places to put the stuff from boxes. I've still got loads in my loft from 2 years ago.

    Nice to see you.
