ooo lice!!! urgh.. i fight them ever week.. I am sure someone at the little ones school never gets checked, resulted in a slight hair cut two weeks ago as I am really fed up, lice comb out nearly every night in the hope to catch the blighters!
Bring back the nit nurse :-)
You sound like you are doing well though and thats good to hear, glad the spread sheet is working out for you too.0 -
I remember when my DD was at school...she got them & my son never ever had any at all ( I reckon it was because he hated washing his hair!!) ....my DD however had to wash her long hair every day & she flatly refused to have it cut.
The trick with those nit combs though is to run them through the hair whilst the hair conditioner is still on....not only does it catch the slippery little beggers but it`s great for the hair too. They are easier to get out as they can`t hold onto the slippery hair surface.
Eeewww I`m itching just remembering those days!! Oh the joys of children eh !!

Head lice are a pain in the backside!! I'd tried all the lotions and potions on the market on my 4 year old and yet she still came back every week with them from the other children. The only thing that worked in the end was baby oil. Shove it in the hair, comb through (they were practically jumping out) and wash. I used to leave some oil in her hair for a few days though just to be sure they didn't come back. It's a godsend!0
