Glad it is not just me that thinks that then.
Mind you when I saw him on make me rich I did not like that giant gold calculator.
Yes shame about the rabbit was had those floppy ears. And her partner was always cleaning her. So it must have been love. Now £7 lighter after vets charge. And I only just bought a huge bag of pellets the other day.

Hi everyone and hugs to all who need them esp Calley.
Ticklemouse and Thriftlady - it must be going round - I have just been looking at ds2 and hoping rather charitably that he's coming down with something. Otherwise it's Borstal.......
Roast turkey dinner tonight from my bagain turkey crown the other day with lots of Yorkies - it's been snowing on and off all day here so we deserve them.
Had to clean out the cuopboard under the sink today as we've discovered the dishwasher has been leaking - there was a small lake in there and a baby slug
Am still eagerly awaiting my Amazon order with the Money diet and More is Less cookbook - maybe tomorrow!! Off to finish off dinner - peel those OS carrot batons and chop them up and heat up the disgusting 20p ready meal for the dog - hope he eats it!“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

Aww Calley, I'm so sorry to hear about your bunny rabbit. For the sake of the other one perhaps you could get an older one from the RSPCA or similar - they always have bunnies looking for new homes. Do you leave your bunnies outside? I am v.soft, but I would probably look into having the one which is left brought indoors. (Just as well I don't have a goat or a horse...)
Kiwichick...I can't believe the incompetence of your estate agents. Please scream hell and high water at them. They have not done their job properly (and blaming it on the person who has left isn't the solution or an excuse), I think you deserve a good whack off their charge to offset whatever extra costs you are undoubtedly going to incur. Someone mentioned about your solicitor...yes, he needs a sharp one up the bum too. In the past a solicitor of mine tried to get me to sign a document stating that I would move on the date to be arranged by the person buying my place. Huh, I don't think so. They are supposed to be acting in your interests but that doesn't seem to be terribly apparent.
I've decided to go to college after all. The snow is nearly all gone though there have been a few flurries during the day. Hopefully she'll let us out early, the ground is wet and there will undoubtedly be black ice if it gets cold, so want to be home before that.
I'm so flipping tired, only had about four hours sleep last night, and really want to have a snoooooze.....
See you all tomorrow.

Aww. Poor Bunny. I lost my lop eared Millie in October; sadly she got ill on a weekend & the vet's bill was nearly £130  to have her put down. She lived in the house & used to get most upset if you didn't give her lots of fuss & attention (not to mention breakfast!) as soon as you got up in the mornings. I regularly came home to find her & OH both flat out fast asleep on the sofa. I've only just got out of the habit of talking to her when I walk through the door.0 -
Kiwichick I was so sorry to read your post. I just can't believe how much you have been messed about! ((((HUGS)))) (i know a virtual hug doesn't get you a new home but it's the best i can offer apart from sympathy - I feel really angry on your behalf after all that's happened.)
Bargain Rzl sorry you're still poorly - don't try to go back to work too early or you risk getting ill again - sounds like a flu-type thing you've got! ((HUG))
mossy Well done for all the hard work! Isn't it lovely to see things looking neat and tidy and clean - I'm slowly getting there!
Frey ((((hugs))))0 -

Mine are out door bunnies. As I learnt my lesson with indoor ones. They ate my carpet and modem cable and also my skirting board
Good job they did not get any electric cables
It was lucky it was very quick mopey this morning and dead by this afternoon. So not a lot of pain. And for two others in the past we had it was that quick.
Over the years I have had 4 Rabbits. And three of them where rescue bunnies from the RSPCA. The first one I hang my head inshame to say was bought from a multi national pet shop.
I may have look on the internet for my local RSPCA shelter and see what they have.

Had dinner sat at my newly cleaned dinning room table.
We had a cheats chicken casselout (sp?) that I found on the eat for under £1.40 thread, can't remember whose meal it was now but thank you again.
It was yummy, fed 3 adults and munch for about 90p. :T Friend who ate dinner with us was very impressed lol.
Right DH has gone out to a meeting and munch is in bed. I gave myself February off work and I start again tomorrow with 5 jobs and need to fit bible study in which is in the afternoon as well...busy busy busy. So I need to print off all my paperwork and read up on my scenarios ready for tomorrow.
I've also got to get my stuff ready to put on ebay on Friday as its 50% discount day, so if I have time I might start on that as well.

Kiwichick - really sorry to hear about your house.
calleyw - sorry to hear about your rabbit. Like someone else suggested, go along to your local animal rescue shelter.
My day at school was quite testing. One of the children in my class decided that he would punch someone in the playground, with a big fight ensuing. This has led to him being excluded until Monday. On top of that, another child in my class went into someone else's bag and took out their drink claiming that it was theirs. This child has a history of stealing (due to having to have stolen food to survive whilst living with a parent), went into a sulk when confronted and had to be hauled out of the classroom by 2 adults because she was disrupting the class. It's really quite draining.
My dad is up to the eyeballs in hospital with morphine and antibiotics, according to my mum. There's apparently a chap in the same ward who was knocked over 3 weeks ago by a car, is going to be discharged some day this week but is homeless. This means that all the nurses and his consultant are concerned for his welfare. It also means that he doesn't have any clothes, as they were cut off when he was taken into hospital. My mum has donated a pair of my brother's trousers, t-shirts, jumpers and pair of shoes and another wife of a patient on the same ward is donating a rucksack. It sounds like such an awful story, it made me and my mum cry!
Anyway, onto happier points. OH is tweaking his CV, so we'll see if he ever gets into gear to change jobs. I've just made lunch for tomorrow, which is a green bean salad that was in a Sunday Times GI recipe supplement. It looks quite tasty and hopefully OH will find it filling enough!
breakfast - branflakes
lunch - more branflakes (took some into work with me!)
supper - veggie lasagne, left over from last night.
I'm going to make a minestrone soup tomorrow night for supper, from the same Sunday Times GI recipe thing. It has healthy things in it like vegetables, so hopefully OH will like it:rolleyes:
Take care all
