On the radio this morning someone contacted the show to say they had visitors over from Liverpool who were shocked at the price of "a chip" here!
In Liverpool "allegedly" chips from a chippy are half the price they are here....are we being ripped off (again) over here or are the quality and quantity better?

All bought chips are too dear. Bring our own spuds is the only solution.0

Depends on the 'quality' of the chip shop though! Did they say which chip shop they purchased from?0

I was shocked when I had to do the chippy run recently and paid just over £2 for a chip!!! When did that happen? Every year the price goes up when they are frying new potatoes. How come it doesn;t go down once the new potatoes become old? (lol)0

Indigo's Mum, if you think spud sellers are bad, what about hairdressers. Every year they rise their prices.
