Hayley - you could be in a better position to report Graham White / Michael Sobell to the SRA. Their scam is pathetic.
You can actually talk to Sobell if you persist enough on the phone.0 -

This information can presumably be obtained under the Freedom of Information Act at some later stage but rather than draw the matter out we assume you will be happy to provide it at this stage.
The firm of Solicitors was either confused about the FOI Act or trying to blind the scammers with the law, I take it? FOI doesn't apply to private companies.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

""Graham White solicitors advised in their letter that they contact the DVLA for the drivers details and pay the DVLA a fee for doing so.""
That would be a neat trick. They may get the RK details but even the DVLA don't know who is driving.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
These false claims are well beyond the Solicitor's Code.
They have handed over many bullets, all of them should be used in my opinion.0 -
DELETED ALL MY HARD WORK.....
GRRrrrrr who replied to an original post started over a year ago?
so annoying after posting a load of stuff..Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
i first queried on this forum, central ticketing giving me a ticket for displaying an out of date disabled badge (which was an oversight, and has been renewed) i have so far ignored the letters from roxburghe. today i received "notice of intended legal action" from graham white solicitors. i am panicking a wee bit incase i am the one who will be made an example of, taken to court. should i still trust my good nature, patience and determination, and continue to ignore?0

Just ignore. They have no grounds to take you to court because disabled badges have no legal relevance in private car-parks. The blue-badge scheme only applies to such places as council car-parks and on-street parking. Once again these so-called solicitors have a very tenuous grasp of the law. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

thankyou again folks. i really needed the reaussurance.......0

Ignore ALL letters from Graham White Solicitors or use some of the wording in the letter my solicitor colleague sent to them which I pasted onto a post a few days ago. This is a scam, they will try every trick in the book to get you to pay - IGNORE them. Don't worry - they cannot take you to court.0
