    Hi again,

Getting very exciting now, on my FINAL WARNING (no reduced 'charge' though? :( ) maybe they dont love me enough yet.

You have probably all seen it but I went on the REAL Graham White & Co solicitors website and on the 'contact us' page THEY even confirm they are noting to do with Graham white etc...

I am not allowed to post think link as a newb but google it, it's the first one and click 'contact us'

Hillarious! Thanks again for all your help

    Hi,
I've just had a 2nd letter from Roxburghe, the last paragraph says " we are fully aware of the anecdotal information being presented via the internet and on various websites and you may well feel this guidance is worth following. We strongly urge you to seek independant legal advice rather than rely on these options, and we would respectively suggest that you refer to Civil Procedure Rules part 31, and more specifically parts 31.16 and 31.17" what do these rules mean to me?

The idiots forget to mention that those rules don't apply to the Small Claims track. More lies from these bunch of chancers.

Regarding the above, thanks to the poster over on PePiPoo for this:-

You would expect them to be aware of 31.1(2)

I know that we usually advise no contact but how about ?

"Thank You for your helpful letter directing me to the CPR rules Part 31. Your even-handed treatment pointing me to confirmation that, under 31.1(b) (Small Claims Court), I have no obligation to identify the driver does you credit.

I will pass a copy of your letter to Trading Standards who may find it helpful with their decision regarding your CCA licence.

Meanwhile I suggest removing references to 31.16 and 31.17 that could be misleading"

What's the point of advising a smart-ar53 reply to them????

They typically don't understand it, and if they do ignore it anyway.

It also confuses newbies [doesn't take much i hear you all cry].

  • I've had a NOTICE OF INTENDED LITIGATION letter from the usual Graham White, I take it as that what everybody gets?
Is there a next step we could do after all these demands like report these people?:p

    Yep, that's what everyone gets.

When you come to a new forum, always read the sticky info threads at the top of the board you are about to post on:

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...play.php?f=163

Top sticky (permanent info) thread shows the Roxburghe/Graham White letter-chain in pics so you can just play snap till they stop sending letters. And another sticky, 'Welcome, please read before posting' tells you these fake PCNs are unenforceable and has a link to Watchdog on the matter.

Relax. Tell your friends about this scam. Nothing else happens. But you can report the harassment, particularly if they phone you up which can be soon knocked on the head. See here for info about harassment & reporting it:

    http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk/england_wales/factsheet.php?page=03_harassment

But the most effective complaint surely, would be to the retailer at the car park where they allowed the PPC to carry out their seedy protection racket.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
