i sent my samsung galaxy s to this company and within hours (!!) recieved an email to say that the payment would be reduced because my phone had got a cracked back. the phone was sent in its protective case ( it has been in a case from day 1) and in their supplied padded bag. there was no damage to the casing when it left me. ive phoned them and theyve offered to re-test it, but surely they,re not going to say that they,ve made a mistake. i have no doubt that the phone will have a cracked back if it is sent back to me. i,d rather give the phone away than be ripped off. BEWARE !!0

Sent them a Blackberry Torch. Quoted £58.11. Got an email saying phone does not work and beyond economical repair. Phone worked fine when I sent it off! They offered me £0.00!It is not the bullet with your name on it, rather the one addressed "to whom it may concern" that should worry you!0

Used Envirophone for the first time last week. Was most impressed with them up until today when I received an email stating that my phone had failed testing as it had a faulty key and offering me £20.00 less. I know this is absolute nonsense as I had been using the phone prior to sending it to them! I packaged it in bubble wrap as well as the cardboard box which they sent and so it's highly unlikely that it was damaged in transit. Now to see how long it takes for them to return it to me.....0

used envirofone for first time ealier this year, sent a mint condition iphone 4s and received the full quoted price, did take a week to credit my account though, apart from that no problems.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. I just sold my 32gb iphone 5 to Envirophone for £180 and even though there were some reasonable chips in the case they paid the full price instantly. The screen was fine and the phone worked but there was cosmetic damage to the bezel. The service was great and the price was good.
I was dubious about what would happen as there was some damage but the site said cosmetic damage was ok and they were true to their word.
I would recommend Envirofone.0 -
I submitted my iPhone 4S 32gb to Envirofone and they quoted be £115 for it. I accepted and sent the phone to them. It has been kept in immaculate condition - covered in screen protectors and cases for its duration - it looks brand new.
However, today I received an email saying that Envirofone had tested it and assessed it as faulty because the water damage indicator had been triggered in the headphone socket. My phone has never been near water so I'm unsure as to whether this is accurate. They said that I need to decide whether to proceed or send the phone back to me.
I'm wondering if Envirofone could be wrong and if they have a track record of this. I'm wondering if it's worth sending to another company or just accepting the Envirofone offer?'The journey home, is never too far...'

Ive just sold my Iphone 4s which had a problem with connecting to wifi but when they contacted me they did not mention the wifi and said that the phone had failed testing as it had a pressure marked LCD?? There was nothing wrong with the screen, makes me wonder whether they even test the phone at all, but make up a problem!
Anyway I've accepted their offer of £35 as I'm guessing a wifi problem would be worse that a faulty screen ...... quit while I'm ahead.0 -
I hadn't had any problems with my phone and sent it to another company who said there was a problem with the LED so I asked for them to return it. I sent it to Envirofone who came back to me a few days later saying the case was cracked and would only offer me about £9. I asked for return of phone and got a call saying they had reconsidered and could now offer me £30 - not original £55 or so quoted. As I didn't want the bother of going to post office yet again I agreed but on reading comments here it seems a similar problem. My phone was definitely not cracked and in perfect condition - hardly a scratch on my Samsung Galaxy S3.0

Envirofone.......used them to sell my Samsung S4 which had slight damage and they offered me a much lower deal that I accepted as didn't wont the hassle. I then used a new iphone 4s for 6 months which i then upgraded to a 6s......got the price from envirofone thinking that it wont be any less for this A1 pristine mobile, as I took photos before sending I asked for them to send me imagery of the scratches/scuffs/marks they mentioned. They were unable to do this and knocked £8 from the listed price. TOTAL SCAMMERS AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE U ARE WASTING YOUR TIME AND THEY SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM MSE!!!0
