You should have got it returned and claimed for damage in the post as maybe that is what happened. I have sent them about 8 phones and i totally trust them and payments were as quick as they should be. The only negative is that my antivirus rates the site negatively and shows comments from others about the site which has adverts and lots of malware and lots of other negative comments about it.0 -
Used cashinmyfone (part of Envirofone) an i've got to say more than happy with the service. Sent my N95 in and recieved payment in just under a week.

Sold two old, presumed knackered phones to Environphone about 6 weeks ago. Total turnaround took about 2 weeks. Received about £30 in Argos vouchers for the pair. Would definitely use them again.

Have used envirofone a few times and have always been really good. I opted for Argos Vouchers the last time with no problems.
I`ve just sold my Nokia 5800 to them and they sent me an e-mail saying they now have a network of drop off points where I can take my phone and get secure parcel tracking! sounds good plus I get the money paid directly into my account.
Seems they have really upped their game but will report back when the process is complete!0 -
I sent my Nokia N82 to claim £96 of Argos vouchers! I recieved them in about 2 and a half weeks, but bearing in mind that it was over the Easter weekend, I think that's a fairly good turnaround. I was sceptical about these types of companies, but from my experience, Envirofone is above board and worth using. Hope this helps.0

Overall the process was smooth and took about 2 weeks from start to finish.
The promise of instant payment isn`t as instant as you might think as you still have to wait 3-5 days for the payment to reach your account!!
Overall 8/10 the only down side is the slow payment process, but well worth using.0 -
Sent a perfectly working/non damaged Nokia N95 to Envirofone last week by special delivery. They claimed it had a "damaged chassis" ... I don't think so! Reduced the £90.22 I was supposed to receive to £63.21 - which I've had to accept or receive back a 'damaged' phone. Not happy and will not use them again - if I'd sent a damaged phone fair enough but I had not :mad:0

I did not have a good experience with Envirofone but I suspect all these types of businesses are guilty of the same questionable practice (my opinion).
I was quoted £155 for an iPhone. I posted it off in the supplied envelope and paid over £5 for special delivery as recomended. Other than a small (<0.5cm) scratch on the back it was in pristine condition.
However, they claimed it was "faulty" due to a "cracked back" and slaashed their offer to just £108. So, a tiny scratch had cut its value by a third!
I suspect this is pretty standard and they assume most people will just not want the hassle of taking it back and trying another company.
But I did. I took the postage hit and put it up on ebay instead. Sold it in just a few hours for £200!
I suggest you do this as your first port of call and miss out the middleman.0 -
I got a quote from Envirofone for my iPhone at £176.04 (in Argos Vouchers) which I thought was very good. The iPhone itself had a cracked back and a few chips on the screen/metal bezel so I wasn't expecting the full amount.
A few days after posting I received an email saying that my iPhone had a cracked back (which I knew to be true) and they could offer me £158.47 which I thought was great - I had expected to get half the original offer because of the state of the phone...
It is now less than a week since I posted the phone to Envirofone and I have an Argos card with £158.47 charged to it - great service and I will definitely be using them again.PPI Successes: Barclaycard £62,982.17, Halifax One Credit Card £4,616.440
