Did you get a Certificate of Posting from the Post Office? If so, it's their problem to find out what happened to it. If not, why not?

Received my promised amount in the post just a few days after posting my phone. Really pleased with Fonebank. They didn't pay the biggest amount of all the companies, but they did have the best reviews and I agree that they are a good company. Will certainly be using them again in a couple of years.
Also, got £3 cashback through Quidco for using Fonebank.

Quote for my Samsung Galaxy S3 was stated at £182 and this is what I got paid into my bank account.

I decided to sell my phone to fonebank.com as they offered the highest price compared at mobilevaluer.com

I placed my order on Wednesday late night and got immediately labels and invoice to print out. On Thursday morning I sent my phone via Royal Mail's Special Delivery (most advisable for pricey gadgets for an extra peace of mind). On Friday at around noon I got a confirmation e-mail from fonebank.com for receipt of my phone and a confirmation of the quoted money being paid into my bank account.

Conclusion:
I highly recommend this company for the quick and almost contact-less sale of Your unwanted gadget!

Posted my phone Sony Ericsson W995 on Monday 17th, received email Wednesday 19th to say phone received and money on way to bank will be there within 2 working days. Today (Fri 21st) checked bank and money paid in.

Also original quote when checked and printed slip said £25 but never sent straightaway so when valued again was £16. OK as my fault didn't send earlier, anyhow they paid the £25 which I was very pleased about and was £9 more than what I thought would get.

Used Fonebank on the basis of reviews and have been very impressed. They didn't offer the highest cashback, but the reviews of the higher payers was generally poor.
Sent off my old HTC Desire S using the prepaid label and had an email when it was received. 48 hours later the money had been paid. No hassle, no disagreement on price, just my voucher (I opted for an Amazon voucher as it paid slightly more). Also should get cashback from Quidco too!
Overall, very pleased, would definitely recommend them.

I recently sold my iPhone 5 32gb to Fonebank.

I got a quote for £300, which was the highest before the 5S came out. I waited 2 weeks until IOS7 came out and sent my phone next day delivery.

They received my phone the next day and immediately sent me an email and the money is now in my account.

Posted my HTC Wildfire S to Fonebank on Monday. Received an email on Wednesday to say that the full amount quoted was on it's way to my bank account.
Very glad I used these guys - they didn't give the highest quote but I chose them on the basis of their good reviews, and took into account the poor reviews for the one company that did quote higher. I'd rather get a lesser quote that a company honours than a larger quote that a company then renege on.
Highly recommended.

Sold my iPhone 5 to them - was quoted £275 + 8% Amazon bonus. Sent on Saturday by Special Delivery, got notification on Monday that payment would be made within 2 days and just got the Amazon email. Very pleased - less than 3 day turnaround, no haggling and best price at the time.
