It might be worth trying Ebay. Someone on there was selling them for circa £15.
  • hiya, haven't been on sun holiday before..collected 10 tokens for holiday but I have missed the booking form - anyone know where I can get it from as can't find it on the sun website either..thanks
  • we sent our forms (first time doing this) back in july 19th. So far havnt heard anything from the sun. rang them and the lines dont open till 27th august, so emailed at the sunqueries, and still havnt heard.

has anyone who has sent in to go to Europe holidays, heard back yet from them? how long does it normally take as if we cant get one, we want to book else where...? please anyone can give me some advise on how long it takes. oh and the cheques havnt been taken out the bank yet either.

    After 27th ....
tonnes more people applied this time round apparently, and they say that Sept dates are very popular
but you may be lucky with your Oct date

they do say to not contact until 27th, so no wonder they haven't replied.....

On a plus note, you should get a priority booking form next time round, which enables you to book online :D

I went to Haven camp at Pwhelli and found the same thing. "power charges" then "High season supplement charge" then £38 "entertainment passes"; "linen charges" etc. Upon arrival we learnt that we were called "The Sun People" who were all herded into just one area of the chalet blocks. Obviously, it was the most run down area because the chalet was so battered and STUNK so bad we had to leave early...couldn't stand it a minute longer

Maybe a caravan would have been better but be warned about this location!! Never again for us.....

    Ray
I totally agree with rays1. We had the worst experience of any holiday ever at Haven Hafan y Mor (Pwhelli). For anybody who has seen the 'Colditz' TV series that's what we felt like - the dispossesed, herded into the back and beyond of the site - unsure of what the future held. The chalet blocks hadn't seen any serious maintenance in many a year - even a lick of paint would have been nice. Crivens, if they'd given me the tin I'd have done it meself!

    Stink it up
Our 'chalet' continually stank of stale urine (and, no it wasn't ours) despite my wife's attempts to deep clean the place, but unbeknownst to the plucky northern lass she was fighting insuperable odds. The carpet was suspiciously sticky, reminding me of a students union bar floor and prompting us to order the kids to stay on the similarly slimy furniture with a quilt cover laid over. The shower smelt of raw sewage - so naturally we didn't use it. I could hardly breathe at night because of the thick layer of dust coating everything. We only didn't complain because my wife felt sorry for the cleaners.

How about a dip then dear...
One day to get out from our depressing H block we decided to check out the 'convenient beach' - to get to this the unwitting campers have to pass the site sewage plant and a large valve that runs into the sea marked 'SEA OUTLET' (or words to that effect). Needless to say we didn't fancy a dip! The camp pool wasn't much better, again looking suspiciously shabby both inside and out.

The place did show attempts to update here & there (a Starbucks) but our Hafan y Mor accomodation just shows the depths holidaying humanity can sink to. Hi-de-hi meets Nighmare Before Christmas. You have been warned pilgrims - I'm still having flashbacks!

    On a lighter note
The whole thing did put us off Haven 'the brand' so we avoided them for our next holiday & chose Park Holidays Riviera Bay - compact & bijou chalet but quite clean & nice with a view of the bay. Pool, again compact & bijou but nice & clean. Local shop peopled by grudging staff apparently waiting for their call to stardom from 'Britain's Got Talent'. The WIFI on site is FREE, people! Just pop into the brasserie for a cuppa and a bourbon and you can surf it up to your heart's content.

Suckers for punishment that we are we're soon heading off the the Isle of Wight on a Sun holiday - this correspondent will report back soon...

Not going to bother as people with priority forms get to book online before everyone collecting vouchers - therefore very unlikely to get any dates or parks you want
